Xartemis will be gone in less than 6 months, quietly being sold to a small niche biotech company at a bargain basement price. This will happen sooner if Mallinckrodt is purchased within the next few months, which is a big possibility.
Mallinckrodt will be bought soon but unfortunately it will more than likely come with a cost of huge layoffs
Unfortunate for the layoffs and feel for all involved. Agree will probably be sooner rather than later, expect things to move fairly quickly as thete is way not enough noise of a normal company. I also expect with their earnings announcement nxt week to be good for the stock. The following 2-3 weeks will be quiet then boom an announcement concerning Xartemis and a possible sale of imaging againg raising stock. Another 1-2 months and an announcement of company sale at a high premium to some unsuspecting CEO and Mark and the Gang riding off to do the same to another company after pocketing the millions some of which is earned and some that came at a very high cost to many people and lives.
Hold on to your hat Lucy something is afoot on the buy sell front and pretty soon too judging by all the reminders of insider trading, public trading, information security etc.
Yes. My whole district has been discussing this very thing. A sale is guaranteed and the name Mallinckrodt won't exist for much longer. We just can't all seem to agree who the top contenders are who will buy Mallinckrodt.
My guess is Teva, they will be building a pain sales force for another product plus with copaxone going generice in September they need products have plenty of people.
Do you think Teva would buy everything or simply the pain portfolio? No trolling here!!! I was thinking maybe someone we copartner with already either locally or internationally. Guess it will come soon enough.
WHAT would they be buying? A 12h percocet with nominal merit? An orphan drug? a q12 Loratab? No one wants to buy those...seriously, what else does Branded have? Generic side might be attractive depending on the price. Seriously, what asset would a company grade their gold for?
Generics drivesthe profit overpriced injectableTylenol and that pig thing which doesn't wirk and doesn't contain any of what its supposed to.
