It's been rough for R, but what is their to complain about.

Stock has retuned a 40plus % return from initial offering.

Future value, it's always moving. Get you head out of your short term ass and focus on strategy.

This is a profitable company providing solutions for patients and a more than reasonable return for investors.

Speaking with my short term head up my ass -- you mentioned patients and investors but you neglected to mention EMPLOYEES. As EMPLOYEES OF ABBVIE we want stability, asshole.

Of course employees want stability or growth. Corporations and return to shareholders comes first. As cold as that sounds the goal of your corporate structure is to protect the corporation and build value for the stockholders. The down side is that it disrupts live of employees. That has to be taken into consideration the volatility of the situation. We as reps are a commodity for the company to accomplish its mission. Sell products and drive share. Should that be jeopardized and become an expense not with the expenditure then you know the rest. It's the same at evey company.

Employees not employment are stable. You are completely fungible.

Job market is soft in pharma due to all the layoffs over the past few years. Lots of unemployed reps out there with big salaries. If you haven't started , start looking now!

Lots of unemployed reps, but not with big salaries. The market is changing and there are plenty of new, potential folks who want to be reps.

The "rep" is an old business model. Think about account executive as anew approach. Manage your activities more holistically.

If you are just making calls, you are not contributing to build your skills. A dominoes driver can make calls.
