Any word of looming cuts in headcount? Also will the ongoing Hiring Freeze be lifted anytime soon? Need to know how to plan just in case the SHTF......... I'm not feeling the effects of the Belviq sales growth just yet..... also will Oncol. BU be spared this round?

SHTF more than likely in mid to late April.
As soon as they see how badly the number has been missed.
    Then it could be ugly!

Lots of ground to make up considering all the factors, it will be a huge undertaking to recover the sales loss while capturing additional new marketshare away from Contrave, Saxenda and to lesser extent Qsymia.

Only way I see it is Belviq has to outperform each competitor and at an acccelerating rate while competitors in turn loss their ground just as fast. we shall see....

meanwhile nothing new on the smoking cessation indication.

Epilepsy and Oncology will be called upon to carry the rest of the company throug during this crisis time obviously.

If you think Epilepsy and Oncology are going to carry metabolic you need to pick your head up and see how poorly those divisions are performing. We are all in a tough spot. Quintiles will be first to go, that's the only benefit to Eisai employees.

oncology is doing great and will rescue Eisai in the end despite all else in the CNS and Metabolics downfall.

They may just keep Quintiles and drop the metabolic force...

    Makes perfect sense.

Keeping Q and jettisoning FTE reps would enable a much lower cost structue, plus its variable and not fixed costs.

Cooking the books in this manner, would greatly improve expense structure in a time where Belviq needs to show positive income. but again, will it be to little too late and not good enough.

Why stop at metabolic? Quintiles is the new model. Heard they are hiring.

Q only has the metabolic and partial epilepsy contract with Eisai. Oncology Reps are all direct for obvious reasons. so...

What makes you think they won't get Q for Onc? Makes financial sense. Where the real cuts should be made is at 100. Bloated, unskilled and ready to blame sales for all their mistakes.

Could someone provide to me the sales attainment for:
Metabolic- hmmmm- I think it is now below <30% of forecast for Belviq
Epilepsy- hmmmm, again I think I heard <10% for Fycompa
Oncology- well lets see- Akynzeo 0%, Halaven 98%

    So that leaves Banzel.

Congrats everyone! Eisai has the finest sales force in the industry.
You're right fire everyone in NJ, because the rest of the organization is doing a
tremendous job, well done sales! You got 100% payout for well less than 100% performance.
    Don't they call that charity?

    Just saying!
