It used to be that you needed a Hot Work Permit if you were going to use a sterno can for hot food at a meeting in WP. Became meaningless when you weren't allowed to order food for meetings anymore.
As we in the field are going through annual performance reviews and awards, it is interesting to see the comments on this link regarding "bell shaped curves" and "stacked rankings". Therefore, when a company motivates their people using evaluations and incentive programs that are bell shaped, best you can expect overall is average performance since everyone must fit into an average distribution. Only here we call them "buckets".
