are all these laid off greys going to get back in pharma?
I personally have seen several that I worked with posting on networking sites with no objective for their future careers. They only list "eg-I was an exec. rep." Big deal. They are 50 yrs old with nothing but pharma. Nobody is hiring, and I have seen their posted "resumes" for 5 months on the site. Unreal expectations.

    walmart greeter

Or send Chairman ObaMAO and the socialists that control the Senate packing in 2012 and get their boot off the throat of the Pharma industry

Perhaps, Mr. Know It All, they HAVE found employment but haven't updated the networking sites..the ones that you must constantly haunt. Maybe they don't want people like YOU knowing where they work. Ever thought of that? There are PLENTY of jobs out there if you're qualified. Maybe they're busy working and don't have time to update the site, or aren't interested in it anymore, now that they have a job....why must you constantly gloat about another person's misfortune? Be happy with yourself. If possible...Loser.

They are back and running circles around you!

Correct answer goes to poster #2!!!!!!!!!!!

#3 & #4 are way off base. The 1st thing someone would do is update the networking site to "brag" to the world about finding a job.

"Running circles" is a silly thought, since I am retired and have been for 6 years.
Nice tries though for all contestants. Good effort.

I am very happy w/my life. I could have retired at 40 easily. I kept working and making more money for addtl. financial security. Finally finished up at 48. Finished for good and living the great life. I accomplished all my goals in business. Promoted into Managed Care after 18 months as a rep. Later took a Dir. position with 1/2 the nation under me. No more work, just fun. This board is part of my entertainment!
I do have ONE more goal left in life, but it must remain completely tip top secret. I know where I need to go and what I need to do to accomplish that final goal.

    Best!

How the heck can a person like you brag about your great lifestyle when most of it is spent glue to Cafepharma?

Hey rockhead, I am on here at the most once a day. Actually about every other day, for about 5 minutes max.
I love seeing the demise of GSK and all of the lost jobs. I am retired, live alone and have plenty of time to do whatever I want. You are the one glued to this site while hiding at home like a little kid.

They deserve the right to work as much as anyone else. I hope they all find a place to land.

Hey OP, laugh at the gray hairs you jack ass. I make well over 150k per year, have 1.3 milllion in 401K and pension, house paid off 5 years ago, kids colleges paid off and another 300K in the bank. I owe nothing to anybody and can retire when I want to and well before 60. Let's see how you do Sparky? Now who is laughing at who? Fucking PUNK!!

What a joke and liar! (unless you are an RVP) 300K in the bank? I feel for you. You will work until you are 80. Think Wal Mart greeter. I had over a mill when I was 35 - I swear on my Mom's life. I could have retired then but continued on in Managed Care and made a ton more. Retired at 48 with a ton more that you could ever imagine. I am single, don't pay a dime for kids, college or women. (I get them a rare appetizer or a couple drinks but I treat my $$$$ like gold. Nobody gets to it.) Dream on Sparkolla. House paid off?? How stupid. Owning is way overrated. I rent condos. Yes plural. One in my hometown and one winter home. You don't make anywhere near 150, GSK would not allow it. You would be jobbed unless you are a Sr. Manager and about 60. Nice life loser. PUNK! I would like to see you with your shirt off loser. I train 3 hours per day and tan year round. Just shaved my chest as I do daily. Getting ready to hit the town. It is 10:30 and things "happen" after 11.
Get on the phone and call your kids sparky. I was smart enough not to spend a dime on kids. What a waste.

I am 55, left GSK and found a new job with a device company that respects age, experience and smarts! I did color my ball and schlonger hair with Just For Men and it did wonders during my interviews with female DM's/RM's. They couldn't get over how young my package looked! And yes, I do sport a 15 incher which goes a long, long way during the interview process.

You are the definition of a "sick puppy", badly in need of an education that your parents never gave you, and I do not have the time or desire to do so!

Wrong again. My parents are both brilliant college grads. They DID "give" me an education. (ie paid for all 4 yrs. of undergrad studies) Your company paid for my MBA at a small private college where I took night classes. You are a jealous sick puppy. (and a liar about your 401K)

Are you really stupid enough to live w/someone?? I feel sorry for you. I do what I want when I want to.
Enjoy your spouse and money arguments. (not to mention the screaming brats with toys all over your shitbox house. Bummer.) I tried it once, but was smart enough to know how to live live in the best way possible. Just date and boot them out the next day.
