Hospira

Does anyone know any information regarding Hospira. I know it's an offshoot of Abbott. Is it a good company to work for?

I heard it's not that good. All the Abbott employees got burned when it spun off 10 years ago (big lawsuit) and the same management is in place. Also one of the infusion pumps made it on the FDA shit list.

 

Abbott only spun Hospira off because all the employees there were going to qualify for pensions. Instead of paying them or laying them off, they spun it off to a new company that didn't have to honor the previous pensions.

 

No pension, no profit sharing, no 401K, slim benefits, and they have outsourced their entire IT department. In other words, no future.

 

Abbott proved their innocence in court for Erisa claim
We took Depakote and top sellers and left Hospira with all

No, they treat their people like $hit...I guess it's a good place if ur an incompetent manager or above because you can make enourmous mistakes and be rewarded handsomely for doing so.
