Room sharing

New hire....does Abbott make you share a room at training and meetings? My former company did not. If so how do you get your own room?

 

Yes and we still sleep in our cars at night.

 

Just tell your manager you are gay. It works for me - - - single room every time!

Don't even think about it. Abbott knows how to protect itself. All you end up with is no job, and no hope of one in pharma. The expression is " chewed up and spit out", I believe.

 

I tried that line and was matched up with a gay roommate.....

 

At ADC, you have to request a straight room mate, and hope for the best. If you do that, you can be assured of a room either next to the elevator banks, ice machine, or on a low floor with the hotel dumpster right below your window. You know, the ones the trucks come to empty at 4 am.
