The market as a whole was down 1.8%. Valeant was down 6.7%. Valeant stock will do just fine when it's trading below $100

If Valeant is at 100 then tender becomes $ 155 (.83 + 72) i.e. way below $180 which AGN investors want as Assman mentioned

    boom ... bankruptcy meets Valeant

When your one year price targets are where your stock was in the last few months that's not good

You're right. Allergan getting hammered. Down $6.50 yesterday and another $1.00 today. What's going on?

Frivolous lawsuit by Pyott and Co. AGN is overvalued on a standalone basis. Once the special meeting to elect a more responsive board is announced, the stock climb back.

Let's see..........one company reducing EPS, the other company increasing EPS.............and who is overvalued?

What's it like having it your way all the time?

Its interesting the guy, Pearson, who is constantly under fire for cooking the books is reducing forecast after posting a great quarter, and answering a lot of questions about its organic growth. Why would you reduce forecast, when you could just keep cooking the books?

And then Pyott, the CEO who is at fault for being asleep at the wheel and getting AGN into this mess to begin with...takes a company that was trading at $120 a share in April, suddenly he ups guidance to damn near $200 by years end. Based on what? Fairy dust?

So the guy that cuts guidance and try's to stay on the up and up is a lying, cheating bastard. The guy who pulls $200 a share out of thin air based on product approvals he knew damn well they wouldn't get...well, he's a genius.

    This is called Allergan logic.

We had to reduce forecast because we sold key products to Nestle assuming Allergan will be done by June. Now we are in August and know that even the special meeting if Ackman got 25 % votes could be in January 2015. This was our strategic mistake. We should have held on till merger was a sure thing.

We will have to spend 6 more months without Medicis revenue stream while Allergan is doing things to stay independent of us.

Only God knows who will succeed but we need to make another acquisition quick. Maybe time to dump Ackman ... he will drag us own with him. Who knows ... he might be selling his Allergan stock and booking the gains. His fund needs huge amount of money in Jan 15 as herbalife options are due then.

Hope our management is not caught flat footed

I am the one you responded to. I don't like Mike Pearson.

But I don't think for one second that guy is waiting on Bill Ackman. Pearson didn't get where he is now by waiting around like some "6" on prom night.
