Gee just LAST MONTH he had almost his 25%. He's scrambling.

At least you can say he's entertaining . . . Allergan is using basic accounting principals to explain why its a bad deal. . . Ackman says what Allergan is doing is quite possibly illegal, how about the insider trading or colluding with other hedge funds to jump in Allergan to secure a deal . . .

This world would be a better place if the likes of Bill Ackman dropped dead and his money was given to charity. The way the media covers him is enabling his bullshit as well. CNBC should be ashamed.

At the end of the day, we do not have the 25% to call the special meeting.....we are screwed!

We would do much better without Ackman.

Ackman probably can get the 25%. The hard part is all other hoops that Pyott and his crony board added just to make the process so difficult to pull off. Bill said contacting ALL of the shareholders will take months. If anyone is likely to follow this through, it will be Ackman.

For me Ackman has lost all credibility. He said he already had the 25%.

Ackman wants to kill R&D jobs in the US to turn a quick short-term buck. Let Ackman and Valeant grow larger and destroy more R&D jobs in the US economy and you have the dumbest most short sighted strategy in a global competitive market.

Ackman just lost what little credibility he had. Delivered his death blow presentation on Herbalife, but oops, it's up 15% because there was no basis for his accusation.

    Disaster.

Really makes you wonder about the story he's telling related to VRX / AGN.

Not a fan of Herbalife, but BA made it too personal. Best for him to let it go and get back to the business at hand... unlocking shareholder value at Allergan.

Right, it's so sad and absolutely atrocious that immigrants are taken advantage of by Herbalife, yet it's totally okay to viciously back a roll-up company that guts its acquisitions, destroying innovation that ultimately benefits patients, and puts thousands upon thousands of US citizens out of a job so he can make some dollars.

I don't understand his mentality. Is he so emotional about Herbalife only because his parents were also immigrants? If so, he's immensely selfish to not give a whit about pharma employees. Is the crying just argumentum ad passiones so his short will be successful? Equally slimy.

I mean I get Wall Street is about money only and could give two shits about anyone else, but at least be consistent.

I understand his mentality. He's a freaking sociopath that thinks he's entitled to whatever he wants and will go to extreme lengths to get that. He does not care about credibility all he cares about making noise and getting attention. We'd all be better of as a society if he was in jail or dead.
