DA is legacy Lederle. In the future, please keep your ignorance to yourself.
P.S. without legacy Lederle and it's discovery of CRM197 and Prevnar, Pfizer's life expectancy would be limited. The next time you encounter legacy Wyeth/Lederle a "Thank You" would be in order.

The real problem at Pfizer is that NO ONE and I mean NO ONE in HQ is from the field. Decisions are made by career marketeers who all originate from NY, NJ, or PA. That's it. We may talk a big talk about diversity, but when it counts, there is no diversity and world wide decisions are made by a select few who went to second tier schools in the Northeast.

Here is California, we actually have some talent. I know they have some in the South and in Chicago but look around the cubicles at HQ and all you will see if 8th generation NY-NJ-PA types and that tunnel vision is killing Pfizer.

Its really no better if you go down to Collegeville. Same mentality there except they have a few more Philly Meatball types. Of course since they are from Philly, they are naturally pessimistic and grumpy. But they're still of the same type.

So year after year, a walled off select few still living in 1980 make decisions that have little to do with how business is done in LA, SF, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, St. Louis, Charlotte etc.

Although the comment about Prevnar being the glue that holds Pfizer intact may be correct, anyone who's legacy Lederle/Wyeth or Pfizer knows that diversity programs in every company have been responsible for many advancements.

Your obsession with melanocytes has occluded your view of achievement, accomplishment and character. Your loss.

So they need to look in the mirror to see the person that wouldn't give you a blow job? Hmmmm...?

If you've seen it once you've seen it a million times. You may want to rethink what everyone knows: achievement, accomplishment, and character have nothing to do with advancements due to diversity programs. Trust that it is everyone's loss when advancement happens without merit all in the name of diversity.

You must be part of the "entitlement" generation.

You suggest that advancements can not happen without a diversity program. The two are not mutually exclusive. You need to get over your melanocyte obsession :)

Learn to look into the content of one's character to make a judgement/impression. Learn to look past a layer of cells. I realize this will be lost on you... Nonetheless, I wish you peace.

Unfortunately, you have misinterpreted what the post was saying and it was not about any advancements only happening due to diversity programs. The wise man would be able to take their emotion out of the context of the discussion. The posts original point was valid.

The not-so-wise man/woman initially made reference to a specific advancement/promotion and suggested the only merit was that of "diversity." He/she is poorly informed. Topic closed. Just like his/her mind :)

This was the post you are referring to: you may want to re-read it to understand that it does not reference what you are suggesting. No-spin zone.
