    Another me too biotech....another glorified pharmaceutical. Biotech moniker makes it sound special, and it's not.

    Agree re: management...sucks ...but no different than the entire organization.

    Word on the street is that DBM were given their territories late Friday afternoon. Most of them are scratching their heads.

    Better than usual, usually scratching their asses. Dbm's are the worst of the worst. Morons at best. Biggest wastes in pharma except the rms and ceo's

    Territories are getting bigger not smaller for majority. More white space coverage. Some reps are being given a choice to take other territories or leave.

    Looks like word is starting to get out. Still think BV, JK and ZS took DM input?

    Crazy district and territory alignments never last for long. And primary care calls?

    How long do you think that will last...until someone calls compliance that we are being held accountable for off label market share change. MORONS

    What type of off-label market share are you being held accountable for? This is very serious if true. Is there documentation of this? If so, you should report this immediately.

    While Bobby, Jeffy, Jenny and the ZS folks slept well last night, there were many a DM who didn't sleep a wink. Once again, the head office folks do the damage and leave it up to the field to clean up their mess. Cowards.

    Too many. Everyone is dazed and confused. Most really don't care what happens anymore.

    Tenured people where "designed" out of their territories and laid off. And new people will be hired to go into those new territories. The scary part is that management thinks this is "a winning corporate culture" that we should all be eager to embrace.
    I've got news for you Jenny and Bobbie: your unwillingness to take input from your existing team, your utter disregard for people, and your fool hardy approach to managing has sealed your fate. You too will be a flash in the pan of this division. I've been around a while, and have never seen moral at such an all time low. No one is willing to fight wars for you. In fact they are deserting you at record numbers. Your sales force doesn't respect you nor your business acumen. In fact, they see you as fools. Sure, you will look good this year - but that was just a lucky windfall credited ONLY to favorable reimbursement by CMS. Wait until you over promise for 2015. Good luck hitting those numbers with a bunch of new people and old worker bees trying to figure out all their new accounts. Chris P. can tell you how well a resentful team performs...

    Original member of the Orencia team and long gone. Sounds like ground hog day continues! To this day, BMS is the most disfunctional company I've ever worked for. They took a great group of people and a promising drug and screwed it up from day one. BMS......the company where incompetent people thrive. Sorry but if you choose to work there.....you get what you deserve. Stevie Wonder could see the incompetence at BMS.

    referral bonus was increased from $2000 to $3000 because recruiters cannot find qualified people who want to work for the orencia team. the word is out about the new leadership team. from the top down, this is a very dysfunctional division.

    This place is a hot mess.:

    Crazy sht territories and district alignments;
    Reorgs every 18 months;
    on our 7th-8th VP (can't remember)
    Mirrored territories (so they can make the next reorg easier;)
    IC based on what ever data they didn't loose

    My humble advice is unless you have been fired for cause or have been out of work for a year or more, this division will end your career. Ask anyone before you consider. For 3k I wouldn't embarrass myself to refer a colleague.

    It's not completely dysfunctional, but close. The big issue is the growing chasm between BV and the sales force. Sources in NJ say that he relies heavily on JK who we know has an extremely antagonistic relationship with the field. As the chasm gets larger, the remaining talent will leave. As the previous poster states, recruiters have informed management of this divisions reputation in rheumatology and the difficulty of finding new people to replace those who have left.

    It IS a mess. No bonus for the last 2 months of the year. November and December bonus will be based on what was you did for the first 10 months of this year. Instead you get a contest to target doctors who write no Orencia. This is not a joke. This is real. What kind of idiot thinks up this kind of stuff?
