If I am cut during the upcoming layoffs, do I qualify for a package? Is there a chance I can survive a PIP here? My numbers are similar to other district members but I'm not qualified for a bonus.

What region are you? You can survive and yes you are qualified for a package.

DM here. No you can't survive. Look for a new job ASAP. Major changes are coming soon. You will undoubtedly be on the chopping block.

We all are. Just being upfront about what we were instructed to do with PIP's.

NPS is hiring for the Natpara launch - I'm on a PIP with great quarterly performance in 3Q/2013 and 2Q/2014 - interview went well. There's multiple jobs - go for it now so you have an offer when the PIP ends.

Thanks. I can't take the uncertainty of this place anymore. I dread Monday, Jan 5 when I have to go out in the field. I hate my backstabbing teammates, DM, RM etc.

    Stop hating man.

just go to indeed.com and get the resume out!

Its a good time of the year to start looking as well. But, make sure your attitude is positive in the interview, and have a good reason for looking (not that you hate your current situation...I find just saying the lack of stability in your current situation is enough of a good answer).

    good luck!

Indeed.com is good, but you will have better luck by using LinkedIn to your advantage. Do an update to your profile, add a skill, connect with more people, and the recruiters will find you. Make sure you capture anything positive that has come out of this job (a high ranking, accolades of some sort, etc, etc), and by making small updates to your profile, you will notice that recruiters will start In-mailing you. You should also start sending your industry friends In-mails and ask if their companies are hiring. Most likely, they will get a referral fee by entering you into their company's system, so why not use your network to your advantage.

What if nothing has come postive from this launch?

think of a week when you were on top, a high ranking, a leadership role that you took on, an initiative you launched on your team (?managed care, "specialist lead," etc)...something. Any way that you differentiated yourself.

Just tell the truth. Most companies understand the huge failure and laughingstock this drug is.
