How is it faring out there, boys and ladies? Anyone rising to the prize?

Any one already have PCP's hold back laughter when you present a branded depr. drug and have them write it down?

How many are just throwing around the vouchers to their "good friend docs?"

psyches are going to write because it's what they do esp the speakers but prime care is laughing at this.

anywhooo, consider this a clearing house, share your (horror) stories here.

Man, it's the truth. I've said in another thread that whichever territories have the most Psychs have the best chance to win. And the early numbers show exactly that. Most of the Rex's written have been from Psychs. Heck, if you got a lot if Medicare-D in your territory and less commercial insurance you're screwed too.

But name one advantage that we can say that Fetzima has over another SNRI like Cymbalta or Pristiq that is compliant. This is a me too that requires prior-authorizations.

that's the problem with Forest....Fetzima is a psyche drug and will be RX'd plenty by psyches but pcps laugh at it unless you have the relationship or they "think outside the box."

If a spec. rep and a single retail rep had this drug I could see it making sense...but the forest army has the drug/MDD line....but wait, another rep has just Viibryd and they call on the same dr's.

    How does this make sense?

I guess things aren't going very swimmingly out there?

No. Unless you have a lot of Psychs or live in a town that doesn't have a majority of Medicare & Medicaid, then it's not going do well

So, no one is "rising to the prize?" This drug is going to be a total flop and it was obvious from even before it was puked out.

Detailing doctors on this is liking walking death row...

Agreed. Even several layers of management saw this coming.

So where will Fetzima & Britt scripts come from.... Viibryd

Yep. The mature branded drug will see the numbers drop, again, unless you have plenty of speakers/psyches/buddies on board. Fetzima is a branded drug with a single indication...

which is funny because they want us to pimp the "functional" data on the sds but make no mention of pain. walk that tight rope.

No kidding. But a doc is going to XR a branded drug. At what point do they XR the branded drug & which one gets it?

We are a bit into Q1. How's this blockbuster treating everyone? Gotta love how management wants us to sell this thing as a first line snri option....IT'S NOT COVERED.

What a disaster, it's launch meeting was also terrible.

This drug is a total disaster, a dog and a gutter drug that sends your patients to the ER with rapid heart beat.

Jerry Lynch himself said that growth was non-existent, that was the reasons why the goals were withheld so long.

    The MDD franchise is DoA.
