You sir persist as a tool. Working for peanuts means your are just a Dumbo. The people don't miss you either and once outside of Merck not every boss deserves disdain simply because your report to them. It would appear, in your case, the layoff lottery trimmed that highly desired deadwood.

Tis true that for the layoffs over 50.55.60 blah blah blah. not much is out there. Very tough unless you have a second income coming in...
