You don't need a crystal ball. It is always just a question of time. Go on with your lives.

At least we always keep the duds and rid ourselves of our best, often highest paid people.

I've been through so many of these since 2005. Every time I lose my studs. Every time I keep my middle of the pack, vanilla reps who do all the activity perfectly.

I've seen my team devastated. Those studs we didn't cut left on their own when they realized that our IC has no distinction between top and bottom.

So, I don't stick my neck out for anything. I don't put anyone on a plan. I don't push at all.

I just fight to stay right in the middle.

It's a shame. We once had the finest hospital sales force in the world.

Now, we have nothing except fat paychecks.

The entire industry is the Titanic.

It truly is only a matter of time!

You have Plan B in line? If not...pull out your life vest.

Sounds like one guy is reposting his message pretending there is a ground swell of indignation. Go on with your life.

You leave CP for a year, come back, and it's the same crap.

None of you butt munches knows jack squat.

At least try to be funny...

Thank you for a refreshing pragmatic attitude!! I, too, have seen too many of the top people let go while keeping the mediocre and below.....the robots. Do you think this is why Pfizer is circling the drain. From a once highly respected sales force at the top to one ranked near the bottom is sad.....much the same as America right now.
As Pfizer goes so goes the country. Perhaps in a year and a half, Obama will be named our CEO so he and his cronies will run Pfizer.......into the ground.

I really don't see it that way. I think our problems have more to do with the rich getting richer while the working man gets shafted.

I am no Democrat and I detest what they have done to the country, but I think the Republicans have hurt us more. It used to be that our ELT made good money while the bulk of the workers made good money as well. Since about 2000 the ELT pay has skyrocketed while they have done everything in their power to stifle wage growth for the average worker, wether a rep, DBM, or plant worker. Where possible, our jobs were shipped to India, Ireland and other places. Meanwhile, ELT pay soared. Same things as in the country. The super rich got richer, while the middle class got raped. The poor never were in the equation anyway.

Really just no where to turn. The Democrats are controlled by fringe groups - minority special interests, Wiccans, Muslims, gays, etc. The Republicans are controlled by the super rich. Yet somehow, they have harnessed patriotism and race to keep the votes needed to cut taxes for the rich while raising them on everyone else. Oh, and the gun rights idiots are with them as well.

So, no place for me except to hunker down and do as little as possible to get noticed. I don't want good numbers any more. I don't want bad numbers. I don't want to push people to get better. I don't even want to speak with my people. I just want to disappear at Pfizer but still get paid. If you try to do well, compliance will find you and punish you.

So, I will play golf today. I will hit the pool and send out 2 dozen emails to "stakeholders". I will then have a stiff drink and slide into oblivion.

You do realize that this is YOUR life, right? Just hiding in the middle not to get noticed is like trying to be a good German so the SS doesn't get you. Stop being like the rest of the sheeple.

Our SS (HR Compliance) eliminates anyone outside the middle. So no, I just hit the blender and am going back out to the pool.

It's not "gun rights", fool. It's rights to self defense from bad people and bad governments. But a pussy like you just wouldn't get that.

Btw Cronkite, the super rich are almost all in bed with the democrats, not the pussy republicans. Pay attention to the truth for once in your lame life.

I have plenty of guns ditto head. I am a rational person. The gun lobby nuts are not.

Let say 25 kindergarteners gets slaughters by an idiot who stole a legally acquired gun. What is the Republican response? Ease access to guns. Eliminate background checks. What a bunch of idiots.

I don't like the Democrats either but at least they are tax and spend. The Repubs are spend and let future generations pay for it.

You are such a ditto head. You get manipulated by the religion, patriotism, and guns and all along you are getting raped.

Hello, mind numb robot here. Can I help you?

"at least they are tax & spend"? Really?

And no one says get rid of background checks. In fact they should make them tougher (especially around mental health). I would have no problem waiting a week more to purchase, but to blame school shootings on easy access to guns is disingenuous. All have one thing in common....mental disorders. get tough on identifying those.

Also, +80% of gun on gun violence occurs within a subset of the American public. Yet no one wants to address that. And lets look at Switzerland. Everyone owns a gun, knows how to use a gun and gun on gun violence is low.

If the teachers were armed and not unconstitutionally disarmed, then the odds of your 25 kindergarteners being shot go down drastically, likely to 0. Because the school is no longer a victim disarmament zone and acts as a deterrent to psychos wanting an easy killing field. But you dolts can't grasp such common sense.

If all were stabbed to death with a kitchen knife, you never blame the knife and scream for knives to be regulated . This just proves how irrational and evil you fools are.

Thank God for the gun lobby. Without them, you'd be a slave by now, especially under this administration. Just equate weapons with FREEDOM, and maybe you'll pull your heads out of your asses.

Just keep voting with the Palins, the McConnels, etc and you will get what you deserve: tax cuts for people who make over $2.5 million a year, raises for everyone else. Capital Gains tax cuts period.

But you will have easier access to guns. In fact, you can walk around your local Publix or McDonald and some pygmy dick meat head tried to compensate will be checking out beside you open carrying an HK or Glock.

Oh, you will also get declining house prices, a rapidly deteriorating environment and increasingly dirty and scarce water (gotta let the trackers make money).

The middle class will be gone in 20 years and we will be Mexico.

At least they ain't taking my guns!

Oh please! Democrats are for the unions and working people; they love social programs which are necessary (of course) but the unions get greedy and unrealistic so you pay for state employees to get checks for hundreds of thousands of dollars of sick unused time for 20, or 30 years and we all pay for a lot of the fat. The Republicans are judicious about spending (like accountants) and no one wants to hear it. So when states are hemmorrhaging about money, benefits, etc. you know the story....... democrats. The way this country is going (mentality of everyone wants what the other guy has, no immigrant work ethic etc.) it is pretty sad. Your kids (I do not have any) will really pay for this MESS.

Let's not overlook the shortcomings of our free market which allows large corporations to file for bankruptcy and dump their pension obligations onto the backs of U.S. taxpayers through the federal pension insurance agency. Billions of dollars of pensions have been squandered and the American public left with the obligation, or simply no one at all picked up the obligation (employees who were expecting the promise to be kept left with nothing).
To point out a fact like this is not leftist, not socialist; it is simply allowing thoughtful inspection of a serious problem that exists and needs to be fixed. Try multiple news sources, not just faux news.
