For anyone new here or about to come on board. PLEASE do yourself a favor and keep looking for other opportunities. You'll have about a year here before all hell breaks lose! Run!

You are not an employee here. Besides, in a year the stock is gonna be multiples of where it is today and my options are gonna make me a boatload. Those getting in now will reap huge rewards when additional indications come onboard and we are selling in EU. The only risk when getting in now is us getting bought out prior to options vesting.

I am interviewing for one of the spots. How many calls do you need to make per day?
How many lunches per week? And how many programs per month?
is there a set number of nursing homes you need to see per week?

By the way, what is the company car ?

    lol, car is Camry
    7 calls a day
lunches an programs you do as needed an as you see fit, some reps do a lot
some reps do none. they are not mandatory.
no set number of nursing homes per week, but if you want the nursing homes to use your
drug, you may want to consider getting in the nursing homes and letting the nurses/staff/MDs about your drug.
good luck, its thurs to thurs here baby !

Great! 7 calls a day is great! My last company in which i was laid off required 10 calls a day and it was real tough to get done before 2 pm so I could pick up the kids

HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL DAY FOR A LONG TERM SALES REP?

Is it doable to do 9am-3pm hours as a long term rep?

Most LTC reps work 7am to 6pm, nursing homes never close, so even
going there on Sat an Sun an evenings can also help your sales.

This is correct, most LNAMs work 10-12 hrs a day.
    Especially the most successful ones.

Who's typing this crap! The most successful reps selling Nuedexta are selling it off-label and/or have a physician or two writing the crap out of it for everything under the sun (agitation, etc). Don't let anyone fool you...yes...alot of the successful reps here work really hard but you are no different than the average pharmaceutical rep! Really! Working a full 40 hour work week is silly and you don't need to do that even here! You just need to hit the jackpot with a doc or mid-level that will write it for just about anything! This place is hilarious and the successful reps had a key thought leader writing off label or have a few good prescribers that just simply write it consistently! Good luck because you are GOING TO NEED IT HERE!

Right on brother. The successful reps worked with 1 or 2 dr's. They got paid tons of money to Rx for anything/everything under the sun. HIPPA guidelines were ignored along with selling according to the PI. Everyone resigned because they could no longer sell in that atmosphere. The hours worked were about 4-6 hours a day.

Do you think it is going to work on other indicators... ? Sure it will make it thru the trials positive, but will Doctors use it accordingly and does or will it actually work for agitation, depression, etc... Cough syrup... extended and strong ?

What is even crazier, he was put on a pedestal and treated like royalty, until he got caught. Funny all of the shady dealings from the Florida/Georgia region. Who was the original RD who created all of these monsters?

Your summation of the fired ATL rep is way off. He was well respected among his peers. He practically trained most of them. He was successful because of his relationships with consultant pharmacists who he could get to order stock bottles in their pharmacies. This is not illegal nor is it out of compliance. Ask any LNAM, they would give anything to be able to get chargebacks like he did. As for the Florida team, you cannot lump them into the same bucket as Georgia. Very different managed care landscape, pharmacies, advocates, etc.... He never seeked the attention that was bestowed upon him from upper management. Bottom line is, he brought in more business and revenue than most regions combined. For that, he was hated by trolls like you who would post this crap about a great guy.

So whats the truth, was he fired or left on his own ??
If he did so well , 3 time Pres club winner , why would he be fired ??
If he left on his own , why would he do that, being so successful an making tons of bank at Avanir ??

Did he quit because he was making to much money or was he fired because he was a great salesman? Which one was it? You make no sense at all
