Why all the sales opportunities

    Wtf????? How come so many positions open??? You are already at full capacity when it comes to the amount of sales reps. Are we going back to the pod system of 2003???? Oh boy!!!!!!!

    No because Pearson has to show top line growth to skeptics and analysts after this allergan debacle and is now willing to do that at any cost. Doesn't look good if the company can't launch products. He cares about bottom line in most cases but for Jublia and onexton he will do anything to show top line growth. Thus the sales expansions in derm. If it doesn't have an impact after 4 weeks they will cut everyone and chalk costs up to one time restructuring

    got a call yesterday for a phone interview. What r the products for the expansion? Are these products selling already or r these to sell from scratch?

    When a company that makes all its money from mergers runs out of new take-over targets that are large enough to hide its non existent organic growth (which happens when you fire everyone in R&D and take on enough debt to turn your bond rating to "junk")... you start to panic, no new products in the pipeline? Hire a bunch of new sales staff and maybe they will find a way to sell aging product to a market that is rapidly leaving Valeant behind. When it doesn't workout, the top brass just blames the sales department and make it all their fault when the company tanks.
