News on Reorg

So it's really quiet and nobody knows nothin, but we all know it's coming. Anybody over hear or know anything? When? How many laid off? Who gets laid off? Etc.

 

Layoffs at Bausch & Lomb?

 

Yeah There just ain't anything to sell in B&L anymore & nothing in pipeline with
Valeant cutting all R&D

 

Not to be disrespectful, but we didnt have anything in thepupeline at Bausch.

 

So are all the layoffs in R&D?

 

Omg have y'all been living under a rock. RL sent out a email stating that a consulting firm was called in and looking at reorganizing sales force to get us ready for all the launches in 2016. However we know when they reorganize they never ask the reps what would work better, they spend hundreds of thousands of dollars for a desk jockey that doesn't even look at a map and decide new territories then cut reps. Meanwhile we are "suppose to stay focused"!

 

So when is this happening and is it just pharma or does it include VC and surgical?

 

Exactly "what" are we launching? If there's nothing in pipeline it doesn't make sense peeps

 

This can't apply to Surgical. We've had 2 different sets of doctors come in over the past 9 months and tell us we have excellent products, but our US sales force just doesn't know how to sell it. And I believe it. Surgical is pumping out product wicked mad all over other continents but the percentage of that being sold here in the states continues to decline.

 

Next year we launch a new glaucoma drop, a eye whitening drop and a new steroid. Reorg. doesn't apply to VC or Surgical.

 

Layoffs Pharma R&D?

 

So I've heard that District Managers are having a last minute meeting next week, just before July 4th Weekend..... Also, reorganization will be announced at end of 3rd quarter and implementation goes into affect Q4 2015.... Layoffs have not been in the vocabulary.... Guess they fear a "MASS EXODUS"....

Please, look at the history of DERM years ago....reps gonzo. The only question for us in the HO is why is Ray still around? Just a matter of time.

 

why would they need to have managers come in for a meeting that if its not being implemented until Q4? That could've been done on a teleconference, don't you think?

Good question. Not sure what he does, if anything. He does send out emails every once in a while. But the real question is: why is Tom P still around? Truly have no idea what he does. And never any communication. Ever.

 

Tom is devoted to the sales team. He is helpful, a great speaker, a great motivator, very nice to look at on stage as well--dreamy!
