I just realized that Merck is the one thing in my life for which I have an absolute disdain. I'll bleed them for as many checks as I can and do as little as possible in return. in 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, Merck was probably the most respected company in the industry. Today, they are one of the least, and it will never recover because they have been exposed and their own employees don't trust their own company. Same can be said about 20 other companies in this industry, but Merck was definitely at the top of coveted companies to work for at one point.
