Neuroscience rep here from the CM side...did anyone receive an email late this evening requesting a 30 min conf call with HR for tomorrow? I am assuming only reps getting axed got the request? Looks like my time with Allergan is just about done.

No email here. That doesn't sound good. Hopefully, they will do this right and give you the 60 days notice plus a decent severance. If you have some unused vacation, you might be able to stretch this out 5 or 6 months? When one door shuts, another will open.

I am sorry but it is the people being laid off got their emails last night and this morning. Start looking at articles on the internet on what you can negociate and things to do to prepare for your HR call. There is life after Allergan. This may be the best thing that's ever happened to you. Good luck and I am sorry.

And the west RD with a degree in gym and no management or sales ability stays.

The south RD was a nightmare. The whole region is relieved.

They did some things right and missed the mark on many other decisions. Many are shocked they kept the two divisions yet displaced the very people we need the most and that was many in the RBM team. NR is a total joke and one person can do both indications.

RD IN SOUTH you successfully hit the mark but only 12 CM's and only 1 NR? really?

Upper management is out of touch. Period.

Miss the mark on HSM team as well. HSM accounts can EASILY be rolled into sales territories. No need for 3 sales teams and 3 managers is same given area

Still WAY too many sales reps tripping over each other providing little to no value.

Allergan still conducts its business in an antiquated fashion. More reps DOES NOT mean increase market share.

Good business savvy RBMs lost there jobs while redundant NR reps are running around selling Botox in nursing homes and to pain specialist for whip lash.

Overall this is not a good sign. We have very bad leaders.

HSM's cannot get access in more than half of their hospitals, they fabricate calls and yet have a title of manager. Nationally, there should be 20 HSM's. Thats it.

Most HSMs want to be RBMs because they have "nothing to do" as HSMs . . . .

The fact that that team was not touched speaks volumes about our leadership . . ..

    I'm very concerned right now.

I'm sure all they looked at was the volume of these accounts and the number of HSMs nationally and said well they more than pay for themselves.

They did not take into access, and I know most HSMs can only get a couple appointments a year in some of these massive institutions. They also did not consider how low maintenance some of these accounts are and how protected our business is. If both of these factors were considered there would be no more HSM team but it goes to show you how much of a factor politics play in this process.

My HSM works one day a week. There is zero accountability. ZERO. I wish upper management would track them for one month. ok...they are a manager of what?
