Smoke and Mirrors. Even the steps that we have hit are unworkable in production and we all know it.

Quantic's verification/opinion/approval is of little consequence - it is the FDA's buy-in that is lacking. Also, after Quantic looted millions from GSK in Puerto Rico and gave 'approvals', GSK still got into a criminal CD and was forced by DOJ & FDA to pay nearly $ 1 Billion in fines.

We JnJ'ers have to make sure everything is kosher, and not depend on Quanticians

What's a criminal consent decree? Are there different kinds of cd?

A CD can be accompanied by criminal sanctions and fines (as in the case of SP for example, with a $500MM disgorgement fine and court sanctions against some executives), or a CD can be imposed without upfront criminal sanctions or disgorgement fines (as with McNeil) - of course, any CD can eventually grow into a criminal CD if it is not resolved appropriately/false data is submitted to FDA/DOJ establishes deliberate intent to circumvent regulatory laws/etc.

Yes, all is going incredibly smoothly, in FW, LN, and LP. The CD is just days away from being lifted and, in an unprecedented move, the FDA will tender a formal apology to McNeil for imposing the CD in the first place.

Yes, Quantic gave their opinion - of course, opinions are like body parts - everyone has a couple. And, LN is being given a special award for the fastest CD turnaround in history.

FDA making a formal apology? I don't think so.... where did this information come from?
    FW was a dump...why would they apologize?[/QUOTE]

If anything, FDA would apologize to patients & customers for allowing McNeil to stay in business for this long

guess some folks like to hear themselves blabber. This thread is an un apologetic inquiry from an outside researcher for a competitor. They don't even know the terminology! So bold as to take money from others while fishing for their work here, on CP, for free. Bogus.

Actually, the thread was initiated by two sales people from the New Brunswick.Sales guys don't always get the quality side of the business, and their communication style is rather brusque - apparently the thread question came up at an off-site beer gathering of pharma sales folks

That said, let's be careful folks - there is a lot of public information being disseminated about our CD issues by various consultants who have been with us for a short time and were let go (in breach of confidentiality clauses) - perhaps we need our JnJ HR folks to step in and enforce confidentiality clauses for consultants who are no longer with our CD team.

Seriously, we don't need any more bad publicity

Then stop making poor quality products and get on with solving the issues with the CD and improve the quality and functionality of devices such as the mesh and stop offering bribes to sell Risperdal.
