For Christ's sake. What's wrong with you? Everyone is whining on this board about being let go. Do your jobs and sell some product. That will solve all problems. Can't be so hard, for crying out loud.

I couldn't agree more, Problem is, these so called 'sales reps' do not know how to sell a product like Zohydro - what a sorry ass, ungrateful, inexperienced bunch of people they are. I think a complete overhaul of the sales force is needed. There are some very experienced, knowledgeable sales folks out there with great relationships who know how to sell - and are just waiting for an opportunity for a gig like this. Yes, it is a challenge, but believe it or not, there are reps out there who welcome that challenge. They are ready to support, show passion for, and believe in the product enough to get it off the ground. Problem is not the company, launch of the product, or the hype of the product - it’s the sales team, and I use the word 'sales' very loosely - seems to me none of these so called sales folks know what the hell they are doing, they want the product to sell itself, and do not want to put out any effort in to help get the drug moving. Wipe out sales and start over with a new, more experienced, dedicated team - it's the only way to go - outside of just simply selling the company.

How about a partnership with a big pharma that has non-shitty sales reps? That's pretty much a guarantee to be announced well in advance of Q4. I think Endo is the obvious choice.

Dude, I so hope you are right. How about MNK? Seems they could have included the partnership when they sold Sumavel to ENDP but didn't for some stupid reason

I work at the company and I don't get it either. Someone just give me some really good reasons why it should not be possible to sell Zohydro? Nothing I have heard so far is compelling.

MNK blew it when their reps did not do a good job selling Sumavel when the company needed a boost badly. They are out of the running.

So big person on the Sales campus...post your numbers-let us all see how YOU are doing!
I know many people who are good reps-just as the company has said-many obstacles that weren't planned hit Zogenix in the face and the reps and company are still trying to overcome it. So if you want this company to succeed Mr Big Shot-quit complaining about the complainers and sell more so EVERYONE can keep their job!

    Here is the reason.

I am certain this information will irk some and cause them to react with single line if, should, would, and could, but arguments. I just look at the facts, dissect everything, and make my conclusion based upon both fact and reality. I avoid hyperbole, because sometimes reality becomes clouded by ignorance and hyperbole. What you will read provides reason that Zohydro will be pulled nest month if Purdue’s NDA is accepted. I believe there is an 80 – 90 percent probability that this will come true.

It is important to pull the entirety of the situation completely apart to learn something of value. Thus, examine this situation through logic and reason and you will learn that Zohydro will be pulled in favor of Purdue's abuse deterrent hydrocodone. 1). As part of her responsibilities, HHS Secretary Sylvia Burwell overseas the activities of the FDA (True or False?). This answer is true. 1). Unlike Kathleen Sebelius the DEA has the ear of Health and Human Services Secretary, Sylvia Mathews Burwel (True or false?). This answer is true. Explanation, the DEA has been trying to reschedule short acting hydrocodone for several years; however, former Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was loyal to FDA’s Hamburg and FDA senior staff. 3). Sylvia Burwell is showing her independence and unafraid to make equally controversial decisions (True or False?). This answer is true. However, Burwell had the support of public sentiment favoring this reclassification. If you dissect fully the data showing that, the public overwhelmingly (70 percent) believed this to be the correct course of action. 4). The DEA is concerned that Zohydro is on the market (True or False?). This answer is true. In fact, twenty-eight “state” policing agencies (Department of Justice enforcement), hold similar concern. 5). State agencies previously voiced their concern to Sebelius, but she gave deference to the FDA in the decision making process associated to pulling Zohydro (True or False?). This answer is true, Sebelius was unwilling to challenge department heads (Specifically the FDA) during her tenure. She was content with a conflict free / stress free environment associated to her day-to-day world. 6). Previously, we learned of the DEA’s concerns associated to Zohydro, moreover, twenty-eight attorneys general support and continue to support with veracity Zohydro’s removal, because it is devoid of abuse deterrence (True or False?). This answer is true. Moreover, my last check revealed that approximately twenty-eight congresspersons in a bill separate from Manchin’s support removal of Zohydro in its present form (True or False?). This answer is true.
Thus, by simple examination of the facts, Zohydro will be pulled assuming that Purdue’s NDA is approved next month. One can frame the situation any way that they want, but the facts themselves speak volumes. Therefore, Zohydro will be pulled from the market if Purdue’s NDA is approved.

Next, from an FDA perspective, concern will focus on the viability of Zohydro’s abuse deterrent technology compared to Purdue’s technology, thus, will the new Zohydro NDA be approved? Finally, Activis presents another challenge to Zogenix. If what I have asserted becomes reality, then Zogenix can ill afford to defend their questionable patent and support its day-to-day operations at the same time, thus, this is the main reason that the Zogenix share price sits but a mere 21 cents from receiving a NASDAQ delisting deficiency letter, that, when issued must be made public. The senior management associated to Zogenix is ill equipped to handle these negatives. In this context, senior management associated to its so-called competitor’s management in a similar capacity is in my perception 50,000 times stronger in the context of their overall experience, skillset, and knowledge than this management group.

Conclusion: Zogenix will fail next year, or they will be forced into selling additional technology to remain “semi-viable. “ Preferably, Zogenix will merge with a viable competitor. Unfortunately, in the near term, and until a deal is signed there will be mass confusion. From the perspective of junior management or retail sales staff it is unwise not to be looking and looking actively for another job; this is especially significant because Zogenix will likely attempt to institute their typical, and unacceptable, two-week severance package.

    End.

Fact: You are a paid Troll.

Fact: Zohydro ER is the only Hydrocodone only pill on the Market and has years of exclusivity.

Fact: All other Hydrocodone pills will be up scheduled by the DEA to CLASS II and be just as restricted as Zohydro ER in the next 45 days.

Fact: Purdue's NDA is for a 23 hour 90 mg horse pill. There is no real need for this product since Zohydro will file and ANDA for a tamper resistanct version of Zohydro ER in the next 45 days. Therefore, it is not clear that the FDA will approve Purdue's horse pill.

Fact: The head of the FDA has testified before congress this year that she does not believe Purdue's technology works well as a deterent to abuse.

Fact: Actavis sent a premature Paragraph IV letter to Zogenix and has yet to file with the FDA....because they have no way to get the FDA to act. This is a legal strategy that Actavis has employed with many other drugs that they would like to undercut with generics and they have not been that successful.

The bottom line is that Zohydro ER in its tamper proof form early next year will likely have years of exclusivity to built up its maket share. This is driving the large pharmas in the pain space crazy as it leaves them open to a scenario where by the FDA can ban all extended release hydrocodone products from filing once Zohydro is approved in a tamper resistant form.

Go back to the pickle parade from whence you came. Your "facts" are in dispute and you should go back to masturbating.

Sadly, I encounter a single dimensional thinker who is unable to communicate normally. Therefore, you sir deserve an award of some kind to motivate your cognitive abilities. Thus, take a brief moment to look at yourself in the mirror. What do you see? I think you see a giant pickle. Smile when you look at yourself because it will only get better, because today’s pickle parade will march in your honor. Moreover, to everyone’s surprise, you are selected to lead today’s parade. Good job I say! It was your carefully chosen and delivered words, which tipped the scale in your favor, thus, allowing you to win this great honor.

As mentioned in a previous post (8K), your passion exhibited within your written word translates to you being our poster boy for the pickle parade. As explained, thank God, there are people like you that are capable of their voicing their opinion so eloquently. It is clear that you spent a great amount of time choosing your words and thinking this situation through. Thus, in battle, I would ask you to charge the opposition with your sword held high, because you would the perfect soldier to sacrifice first. “Do not fire your weapon until you see the whites of their eyes, I would command from afar!” Because you are unable to think outside of the box you would obey my command, therefore, march forth, and be subject to slaughter.

Unfortunately, in this forum, I have about that much time for people like you that feed on the lives of others with little regard for their fellowman. My advice to you is to think outside of the box, show a little empathy for others, and this may help you to comprehend reality. Moreover, it appears that you are unable to remove your self-interest from the situation, thus, in your case I do not see a favorable ending. because it is one devoid of self-awareness. You are unable to see the true pickle that exists inside you.

Therefore, my advice to you is to be content with yourself and learn to celebrate your unique qualities and differences. Do not permit yourself to be skewered by another, but if you do try to go Kosher. However, I hope you achieve success and satisfaction living inside the pickle jar that you find yourself contained. Nevertheless, I will puncture the lid for you, as you can ill afford to lose anymore brain cells.

Are you trying to convince me, or yourself; it appears that you are trying to convince yourself. I am certain of the outcome. I could expand upon my list to a theoretical infinity. Thus, be gone with you I say and your wild fanciful comments. For breakfast tomorrow, I suggest eating purple moons and pink clovers, because you will need a wee bit of magic on your side in the coming days.

Look, the last thing I want to do is fan the flames to volatile communication and further ignite conflict. I am concerned, but I will back away gracefully. I will place my trust that the sales people remaining at Zogenix from this moment onward are treated with the greatest level of honesty, dignity, and respect regardless of the eventual outcome. Sadly, this is an integral missing piece of an otherwise simple puzzle to put together.

As explained in thread 8K, "unfortunately, investors are bombarding the posts and they should return from whence they came. Thus, I have resorted to words to pierce their delicate skin instead of spraying “Deet” directly into their eyes. They believe their words are meaningful, yet are clueless. I had to bait them before I sprayed them. If they return, try engaging them in a lecture on science and they will curl up into a ball and roll away. So, to the previous poster, my words are meant for the greater good of this forum. Thus, am I absolved for my forum specific sins in your eyes? I humbly ask for your forgiveness and I apologize if I have offended anyone other than my intended targets."

At the risk of asking the obvious, why do you think Zohydro is having such a tough time? Bad press doesn't help, but the real key is payers and pain specialists.

If Zogenix went to payers and said, we'll discount it really well (which they should, just to get scripts up and pave the way for their abuse-deterrent formulation--who gives a poop about margin now?) and then goes to pain specialists and says, look, here's where it works, and payers are reimbursing it, I can't imagine any good pain specialist not writing a bunch of this stuff. They already write stuff that is just as dangerous.

Are payers putting up any obstacles for Zohydro? They typically don't give a crap about opioid addiction, so they can't be spooked by the bad press.

Your attempt to bait me is futile; however, I have a free minute of time to exchange pleasantries. I have already proven that you are noting but an illiterate pickle, I have provided you a lifeline, placing it into the pickle jar from which you reside, but you have failed to place your hands one on top of the other and climb out.

Moreover, do not assume anything, as this will place additional strain on your grey matter. You have only a few brain cells left from which to communicate your thoughts, thus, be wise, and spend your time thinking about productive things that exist outside of this forum. I can wrap you up into a nice little package tie a delightful ribbon and bow, then, mail you anywhere in the world postage paid. You do not belong here. So, keep that in mind if you wish to continue bashing.

Again, look at yourself in the mirror, is the person looking back proud of what you have become? You provide us a window from which we can peek at your “Self.” What we see explains why society is broken, and why it needs, both a fix, and sometimes a “fix,” for some. You provide us with a sprinkle of avarice, a touch of moral decay, significant lack of empathy for one’s fellowman, and ethics, what is that? Leave us be now, as you do not belong here. However, I leave you with this, I wish you nothing but the best. Good luck.
