Interesting that the people who were responsible for these messes on the Risperdal team, at Depuy and Ethicon are still wandering the halls of J&J. Isn't it time to show them the door?

Exactly. Many of them are at JBI. The Texas rep in the story didn't risk much. You can wear a wire in Texas. Makes me wonder why we've had so many meetings there. Makes me wonder if any reps were wearing wires over the years?

Yes, just look at the DePuy organization with the hip recalls and the impact the poor quality product had on the lives of so many patients. The cost of these lawsuits has been astronomical and the shareholders should be outraged. Yet, the head of Quality at DePuy and her team still have their jobs and continue to be awarded yearly bonuses. It is sickening! The credo at J&J has been dead for years!

The Risperdalers are PO'd that they got called out and exposed. They all thought the shenanigans would get them to the top, but ultimately they all got exposed and have been scattered to corporate and strategic marketing, never to be heard from again. Risperdal is all over their resumes but nobody wants anything to do with them and they're just marking time to 55. As soon as they get to that milestone, JNJ will cut them loose, if not sooner because they are way underwater on the value equation now.

Many of them are at JBI and still up to their old tricks. You just can't get rid of these guys.

check the history of the JnJ chairman. Gorsky on the Risperdal brand leadership team. Left before shit hit the fan, went to Novartis. Came back, with that squeaky clean West Point persona. He is Teflon.

How 'bout it, like going and hiding at Novartis for 4 years would "cleanse" him of his risperal stink.

The others have been hiding in plain sight for years. A whole lotta nothing's been coming from them since they were all banished.

None of them deny the facts. But hate the fact that Kurt B made millions by exposing them.

Someone ( HR and above ) should really pay attention to how ALL employees feel about the CREDO. The sacred cow is no longer sacred. It is not scepticism that prompts me to write this, but viewing the actions of the company to its patients( risperal/mesh/recalls) doctors (poor quality products) employees ( fear to tell the truth on the CREDO and people getting fired due to ageism.
The only thing JNJ cares about is the shareholders and making money for them which is all and good . Just stop being hypocritical and trying to maintain the image of the generous giant. You are far from that... the JNJ name still may be worth something but sooner or later more and more people are going to get wise to the fact that you are no better and in some cases worse than other companies.

Stop resting your laurels on the CREDO. The CREDO means nothing. I hope this message gets out and embarrasses the living day lights on you.

AMEN!! J&J is no longer the company it once was. The company lacks ethical leadership and is only motivated by their own individual career progression. The talent pool at J&J is already bleeding as employees realize that the value proposition offered by J&J is no different than any other organization and that the credo is merely a document that hangs on the wall in conference rooms throughout their facilities.

The Credo is dead. Hiding behind the Credo with PR and lip service makes JNJ actually worse than other companies. Reminds me of the televangelist toes that preach holiness and get caught with hookers and drugs.

Saw this on the Consumer Consent Decree thread and it applies to all the people who have caused all these issues as well. Replace "McNeil" with Risperdal/DePuy/JBI/Janssen/Ethicon and it's dead on...

"They need to get rid of a lot of people and fast starting with $175K a year consultants and Senior Directors earning $255K, Directors,Associate Directors by the boatloads. Most people are never in their offices and working remotely all the time and yakking on their cellphone/surfing the net (reimbursed to the tune of $100 monthly) by Uncle Alex. McNeil is an incestuous cesspool with people patting each other on the back just for showing up to work or uttering BS at meetings that no one understands and actually causes impediment in getting real work done. Some people who are constantly feeling afraid that someone will take their chair/position and keep telling tales of their past fake achievements thinking there worthless arse is worth saving and should receive the next fat paycheck..Let people who do the work get some credit for once..

It's amazing how these people are now skating by. They don't ever need to be in the office because THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO! They're now irrelevant and have no place to go, so it's all about looking busy when the bosses are in the office, and sounding important when they get to sit in one of the meetings where decisions are actually made. Disgusting

So true. People showing up late , leaving early, going to the gym for longer than their lunch break and then eating lunch at their desk while surfing the net. While others see this and have mentioned it to their supervisors, but guess what...supervisors don't care.
So us shmucks keep working and get slapped for mentioning the slackers.
How is this CREDO like in any way?
