so why was JS let go?

 

He got let go because his results suck; they always did in any of his management roles. He either will have to lie on his resume or there is no way anyone will touch him with the sales results he has to show in his time as a manager. He had to compete against all Actavis Specialty DMs who were in limbo due to the CPU and Derm. Cuts. It's really not his fault, he's not that bad of a dude but he was promoted rapidly by JH who needed someone who would follow his direction blindly. He never got the support he needed to truly know how to lead a team other than by fear, intimidation, and dictator-like direction. Under JH you got great coaching on how to demand 12 calls a day and track scheduled activity. That is all JH ever knew from the areas he worked. All of the specialty managers either JH or JC have appointed are ass-kissers who have 0 talent, ability to motivate, or know how to win. The only exception would be Tillotson who neither JC nor JH hired. Go look at the last 4-5 years of results for any of them if you want a good laugh yet they stay in their roles because they follow lockstep with what JH or JC tells them. Things will NOT get better under JC- he is worse than JH. He is egotistical, self-serving, and is rules through fear and negativity.

If you have any kind of resume I encourage you to look outside Actavis. There are a ton of great gigs out there with companies that have far better cultures in Biopharm, specialty, device, and even BDG. These opportunities will almost guarantee to pay you a higher base salary, better benefits, and have similar target bonuses. If you are really good many of these companies are even starting many off with stock or signing bonuses. Go look..........it wil be the best move you ever made!

Great post! That's very dead on regarding all points. JS isn't a bad dude, but might not have bern in the right spots at the right time.

Cox will be worse. He has an ego the size of Texas, doesn't mind lying, and is quite calculating. He's the type who wanted to be in the cool group in high school but wasn't. The sort who wanted to be an athlete, but was only let compete on the cross country squad.

He's smart and if he doesn't like you he will easily run you out or get you fired.

 

JC fancies himself very clinical and intelligent. He will be big on data as he believes that is what helped him do well with Celexa. Yep. That's the last time he actually carried a bag. He sold Celexa in a market and a time when NO antidepressants were generic. Prozac was not even generic.

I've heard he was only a rep for less than a year.

He only knows management.

 

Who was it and what job were they going for?

 

So what was the final carnage in Chi-town. Were entire territories wiped out like I heard or is that just CP fodder? Also what DNs are still there?

Jerk? Because an honest evaluation of someone's character was given? Being honest doesn't make someone a jerk. Further, blew it for them? Ha. They blew it for themselves by being who they are. Within the confines our jobs with this company we have to do as told ("coached" they like to call it). Outside of these job duties our leaders (insert laugh) have no power over any of us.

 

Messing with someone's livlihood is jerk behavior. Did JS ever do snything to you directly to affect your livlihood? No? Good then shut the fuck up.
