Will Philips Health be bought?

Thoughts? Too many changes, turnover, and downsizing. Big mess right now.

 

Always been a mess since I've been here. Terrible company, layoffs every quarter. No innovation cost cutting machine.

 

Agreed. No answers on anything from internal support, total disarray. Definite possibility. All the old folks will take pensions and run. Then what? Too many old dogs stuck in their ways and little innovation. Time will tell.

 

Who would spend the tens of dollars? No employee that has been here for more than 2 years is happy. This company cant sell, create quality products, have employee loyalty, be profitable, grow revenue, have quality IT support, have corporate support, accountability beyond FSE's, should I really go on? The is no brand loyalty and consumers wouldnt even realize if we tanked cause our marketing team BLOWS

 

Your patient monitoring group is still strong so what division are you speaking of?

 

Samsung will take ultrasound business units - but WH will be wound down.

 

Now that the EVP for imaging is "retiring" there might be new blood in management to turn this division around; if it's not too late.

Significant FDA issues- "retirements" several former VP's are gone.

 

WHC is already weeding out non performers in preparation to transfer to other modalities

It truly feels as if Philips will spin off the non-productive modalities and cultivate the flagship modalities where we've gained significant market share and still have room for growth. Hence the creation of the new IGT division.
