Hypothetical question...

Let's say "Johnny Sales" is a rep at this company. Johnny has a job offer he would like to take. If Johnny leaves his position before the end of the quarter, what happens to Johnny's quarterly bonus? Does he still get a bonus? Would it be prorated? Does he have to stay until the end of the quarter to get it?

Thanks in advance for what I'm sure will be at least 4 smartass, sarcastic, yet witty responses and the one lone accurate answer to this HYPOTHETICAL question. ;)

It looks like it only took 3 :). Someone else asked the same question about a month back: Unless special circumstances apply, you need to completely finish the period to be eligible.

As before, you really shouldn't (hypothetically) entrust something so important as a bonus payout to even well-intentioned strangers on the internet. You'll want to verify this answer (and other relevant details) by reading page 25 of the eligibility rules posted on the IC website.

I'm sorry to hear you are thinking of leaving, but whatever you decide, good luck!
