Any one else think something big maybe coming due to the product situation we are in?? It seem to be implied at Orlando meeting. Any thoughts when and who may be involved.

Possible that they finally put WP out of its misery and shut it down.

Looking at the whole picture...do you really want one and then another massive layoff? Or changes in your retirement/pension if you have enough years in?

Ken has said in interview after interview NO more mergers. It's all about licencing deals - hedging the chance of revenue against the lowest investment - no people issues.

Frazier says lots of things that are not true or will not occur. Wouldn't take this man's word on anything.

Go back and watch the archive of the last EBB. After discussing the inversion transaction fad, Ken said that he'd consider a merger if the other party's pipeline were right and if the merger made strategic sense.

Since the Schering merger has been so successful I'd be surprised if we don't buy someone soon.

This is the only time that you should follow the Pfizer model in acquisitions. Buy and then let go of everyone from the other company QUICKLY. Don't keep them around for years!

What sure you trying to say? The only promising pipeline products have been from SP.

    Saphris (sold for $$$)
    Victrelis
    Zontivity
    Suggamadex

Then I would guess that a merger is imminent. This is the guy that assured us no more layoffs were planned about a year ago, too.

No more mergers. But what about reverse mergers? Or inverted, triple-Lindy cross-current mergers?
