Why does everyone at this company CC their manager and the receipent's manager on every single email? The supervisors here have to be buried in their daily email. Completely inefficient and passive aggressive.
It's called covering one's ass. In this company, at this time, with micro-managing tools like Jeffey H running the sales force, it's not passive aggressive it's just smart.
You can always forward a message if you need to CYA and do the stupid read receipt thing. CC your co-workers' supervisors just breeds hostility.
This is one of my favorite things about the culture at KCI. Copying the manager on routine messages between co-workers - it breeds so much trust between employees and really gives those managers tons of reading material. Cc: away people.
