I hear this place is a nightmare.. Poor and inexperienced management! Unrealistic numbers subsequently don't look to be paid. Making less than an early stage associate rep..be ready to write reports and be micro managed.

No no and no. Do not let them trick you. I was sold on getting in early and trading comp for stocks in a game changer. All upper management is clueless to the market. They treat their reps like a dime a dozen. Total waste of time unless you like writing reports and making under 100K while doing the work of someone making 300K.

I'm a recruiter and have been fielding a lot of Mazor Resumes recently. I don't know if these posts are completely accurate but sounds like there could be a correlation .

I'm a screw rep that was thinking about coming over to Mazor but speaking to the local rep here it sounds like a lot of their clincal sales force is jumping ship. I've never worked for an Israeli company before but it sounds worse than the French hearing from the rep.

If you're considering coming on now don't. You'll regret it. Sinking ship. Massive exit underway. stocks in the dump. The sales positions are equivalent to a sales associate positions in compensation. Micro managed, Half the managers sit at home and aren't even capable of getting into the field to help. Compensation split evenly among reps, socialism type comp plan. Run......

I interviewed with Mazor back in the fall and I have to be honest, I wasn't impressed at all with the leadership. Major sense of arrogance which considering how few robots they have globally, seems a bit misplaced. I was a prime candidate for them in terms of experience and it felt like I constantly had to sell them on me and not vice versa. I realize that's the point of an interview but Mazor would have been a risky move for me. Sell me on why I should do it. After interviewing with management I moved on and I think they did to. Glad it worked out that way.

They don't like to hire people who have experience on purpose. They like to hire people with little to no experience who they think they can brain wash into thinking this is the next Intuative. If you are naive to med device and looking for a "sales" position making 90k all in this place is perfect for you . I would look at it as a compliment they passed on you ...it's for your own good anyway.

What were you interviewing for? was it a CSR position?

The CSR isn't a real sales position just so you know, it's just a technician position with a fancy title. I don't know why anyone expects to make any money as a CSR their kits are the price of 1 pedicle screw.

They don't care about CSR's for that reason, as soon as a CSR leaves the next idiot lines up to take their spot. All they care about is utilization and marketing so the capital team and execs can make a buck off your long hours in the OR.

It's actually pretty genius I got to give it to the execs, the scam they're running and how convincing they are that they actually give a S*** about you and how you're making a difference.

No, I interviewed for the full blown sales job...all capital. Based on my experience I wouldn't have even considered the CSR role. But like I said, glad it didn't work. Not an impressive management team and that's all I'll say.

I worked here for over a year, the management and exec's are an embarrassment. I was honestly convinced that they were trying to run the company into the ground. By the look of things they are doing a good job.

Product will only have wide success if one of big ortho scoops these amateurs up. This product/company needs big ortho leadership, business model and big ortho relationships paired with a strong implant line. forgot to mention Israeli's are great inventors but the worst business men in the world. I've never seen such visionary inventors continue to try stuffing a square peg in a round hole and it's exhausting to watch.

The golden question is will a BO happen before current leadership runs this into the ground....

    I disagree with previous post.

I don't disagree that a large ortho company would make this robot flourish faster than mazor can. What I'll argue is if they would actually give their CSR's something to sell besides a worthless disposable kit the company would become profitable faster. Implants? K-wires? biologics? extra accessories? They've been saying that they are going to give their reps more to sell....well 2 years later...nothing...

they undervalue and discredit some of the relationships the reps have with their surgeons. Even if a surgeon had a strong relationship with other implant company I bet the surgeon would still throw some cases to the Mazor rep too. I'll even go one further and say some of the reps are capable of capturing most if not all of the implant business depending on the surgeon's arrangement with other company. One 2 level fusion implant case is the same revenue as doing 6-10 mazor cases.
