ask the cellutome group...oh I forgot they have been laid off. I bet that not only was Acelity trying to save money but they anticipated that the reimbursement was going to be significantly reduced or epidermis harvesting will not be reimbursed in 2015.
Not a rumor....check the CMS website. Proposed reimbursement for 2015 is $490! It is $2260 currently. No wonder that group got laid off....Systagenix next.
