I saw an Enbrel commercial on Christmas in which the actor stated tha "Enbrel gives me more energy to do......." Since when does a TNF inhibitor increase energy levels in a RA patient??? Didn't Ortho get their hand slapped for a Procrit commercial that made the same claim???? This is a false claim in a DTC commercial.

when you are not in constant pain and can actually move your joints you probably feel like you have more energy.

B12 gives you energy, Enbrel doesn't.
Just saw the Humira commercial and a major part of it was a warning on infectious complications which should be a major component of the Enbrel commercial. DTC commercials for prescription drugs should be banned.

The TNF-alpha inhibitors have all been shown to relieve fatigue and depression associated with rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis. It's pretty well known among both doctors and patients that Enbrel, Cimzia, Simponi, etc... can help relieve fatigue-->leading to an increase in energy.
