    Hopefully I will get a rely now!! Zoll terminated me NOV,12 on a HIPAA violation. There was no investigation with the hospital. Just the word of my RM that road with me one day. He apparently had no ideal the Director of Purchasing gave me a BAA (business associates agreement) with the hospital Which gives me authority to look at charts without HIPAA violation. In addition I HAVE the physicians consent to identify patients. The Hospital was Pissed because Zoll was accusing the hospitals Charge Nurse and floor Supervisor with the HIPAA violation since they gave me the charts. ZOLL tossed me in the streets with NO insurance, severance or explanation. As a single dad of 4 this is really taking a toll on me mentally, physically and emotionally. You fired me on FALSE allegations!!! Since you don't give a shit about me or my family!! I have informed all 4 of my hospitals about the practice of "stragitic PSR". This is a HIPAA violation waiting to happen , I was told. Zoll wants us to find RN that have access to potential patients, look in there charts and "identify" if they meet the requirements for LV. Hospitals informed me this breaks the "Minimum Necessary Information rule" and "Patient Privacy Rule". Anybody that knows little about HIPAA will tell you this is in violation because the RN is doing it for personal financial gain by looking at the patients chart. This carries the maximum HIPAA criminal penalty of 10 years prison and $250,000 fine, look it up. Both hospitals informed me if that happens the TM and Zoll will go down with them. Territory managers are playing with fire and Zoll does not give a shit just get MO's. Just ask ANY hospital Director of Nursing, don't take my word. ALSO why are the PSR not VCS or Reptrac credentialed??? Ive spoke with my hospitals about this. They ALL said Zoll knows better since Zoll make all there employees credentialed. Next time you check in your hospital ask the purchasing director about it. They will say yes they have to check in. SHIT they wont the florist to check in, that's why they leave flower at front desk so they don't have to be VCS.... ZOLL you tossed me in the streets for false allegation that have been proven false by the hospital. You also fit all 3 patients that you said i obtained patient information ILLEGALLY or with a HIPAA violation. You processed the order charged the patients insurance with the illegally obtained information and fit them.. I'M pretty sure that's INSURANCE FRAUD. Using patient information that you fired me for... HUMMMM. Don't worry hospitals doing the investigation. Can anybody let me know why Zoll did this to me. I will keep pleading my case to every body until i get the answer.. Jamie the 50% quota increase is impossible, which makes TM do the questionable actions to them selves and hospital staff. Every day my family struggles on where to get money for food or rent, I WILL educated every hospital I can reach in the USA on the questionable practices. You have ruined my family's life on a FALSE allegation, Ill do everything I can to return the favor to ZOLL

    Find a good lawyer specialized in healthcare compliance. Also, report these actions to CMS, DOJ, any other federal agencies. Zoll continues violating healthcare laws putting patients in danger just to gain money. They don't give a shit about you, me, or any other employee.

    Agreed. The whole PSR thing is illegal and Zoll could hire their own fitters if they wanted to. The problem is they do not want to or they would' sell anything anymore. If you have the hard evidence then you should report them.Clearly they are willing to get rid of you for a violation.

    Things will be just fine. I will create a Band Aid approach and lower some folks quotas. We all know that Stan is in control of the quota and growth rate, and I will never be able to change that. I will continue to be a puppet for Stan and Marshall and continue to do my best to tell you what you want to hear. The systemic flaws of the comp plan and growth rate will not be changed until Marshal leaves the organization. Thank you in advance for your 18 months of service.

    I never though about the VSC for the psr but that's very accurate. I see where your coming from on the strategic psr. This might be a problem for Zoll if given to corporate offices.

    The whole PSR working in a hospital or office and then "finding" and fitting patients is unethical. Additionally any PSR that is working at a hospital and then is looking at records for ANY patient in the hospital that they are not assigned to or caring for is a violation of HIPPA and they can and will be fired from their facility. I believe that Zoll asking them to do it can make them liable as well. I've heard stories of RNs being fired for looking at a relatives patient record as they were not assigned to that patient. The hospitals and clinics are very strict about this and they do monitor computer activity regarding patients. If anyone checks on them and they have looked at any records and they had no responsibility for that patient they are escorted out the door immediately.

    That's what I was told from the hospital's and I will make sure every corporate hospital HCA, HHC, Community and Tenit to name a few are aware of the practices of Zoll. I want to let them know the liability that Zoll puts on there RN and staff. I'm not bad mouthing just telling the FACTSand letting them decide!! I cannot get another job in health care for the HIPAA violation they falsely accused me of, so ILL take them down I don't care about my NON existent medical career. I'm trying to get unemployment that will barley cover my house loan much less food, gas, car,insurance shit just living expenses. While Barry, Kelly and other managers sit back and plan a grand Christmas for there family.. I hope you suffer the same consequence you handed me for no reason other than "defamation my character" to fire me. THAT'S CHICKENSHIT!!

It's strange because Zoll sales reps are always handling patient records, getting patient reports and other personal health care information to clear their exceptions so they can get paid. If they fired you, then all sales reps are vulnerable to being fired if they want to get rid of you due to HIPPA. Either Zoll needs to change their entire work model so that reps are not handling patient information and they can not then be responsible for getting the records to fax in to clear exceptions. Additionally just about all of their PSRs that work at hospitals are violating HIPPA to "find" patients and technically even getting records to clear exceptions for patients that are not assigned to them are all HIPPA violations which means that a majority of the PSRs will be fired from their first job. Sounds like you're taking everyone done!

    Yes we are all in violation that's what the hospital's saying. ZOLL doesn't give a shit my manager even said there thought is " IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO IT WELL FIND ANOTHER MONEY HUNGRY FOOL THAT WILL DO IT" They think there BIG money buys anybody... It doesn't buy a judge!! SO funny one of the girls that got the recruiter email it told her rep's make from $150,000 to $300,000. Didn't say anything about base will be 75,000.
    Well they put me and my kids in a very bad place right before the holidays. I will do everything I can legally to make sure and return the favor and hold them liable for the danger they put the hospitals staff and all current and previous employees of Zoll. In the end it would have been a lot cheaper if they would have just gave me a severance to last a few months till I can get another job. That is usually curtsy to the employee and there family. Zoll is really showing there colors. I have already talked to 3 rep. that has asked about the Zoll opening in my territory. I have sent them to this board and told them they can decide. ALL 3 replied back and said, shit NO I don't want to be with a company like that. It is going to be hard for the next Zoll employee. 2 hospital's will not even let them in the hospital and ALL the PSR will have to be VCS or they cannot fit in hospital. The Dr. are also very weary of Zoll know they put the hospitals staff in jeopardy and has said. " WE WILL CALL THE NEXT REP WHEN WE NEED THEM, THEY DON'T NEED TO BE AROUND US OR THE HOSPITAL" they also mentioned we like the lifevest BUT do NOT need any more information on it or Zoll rep hanging around looking to get a HIPAA violation.

    Stop hiring babies! It's your own fault. You chased out all the Hospital reps and CRM people because they owned the business. Now your stuck with your own game plan. Now your stuck with cafe pharma. Now your stuck with high turnover because people can't find the blue sign with the H ON IT. This includes your managers. You pay like a entry level company and you hire like an entry level company. Deal with it. This is your plan.
