Gray hair here....it's GSK history to start reorganization with deselecting managers, then the sales reps.

At some point incompetence always shows its face.

Trust me on this , the departure of this RVP has nothing to do with the reorganization.

GSK you silly company, what did you expect to happen when you put a person in a job because of their race and or gender- she was a nice person who was clearly, and i mean clearly underqualified for that position. GSK- please consider promoting people (male and female) based on their qualifications and not other factors as you set those people up for failure. Monica is a great example of this problem.

Poster #5, you are dead on. Gsk needs to start promoting people who know how to lead and grow business.

She was like number 2 in the country for her product launch. Doesn't sound like under-qualified to me. Stop making it about race

She did not leave because of patient first. She left because she was fired or about to be fired. HR and compliance had a laundry list of violations that would have left them with no choice in the matter. That woman constantly operated in the gray area and asked her team to do the same. She is a classic example of someone who stepped on others to get where she wanted, even willing to throw others under the bus unjustly. Her region is a much happier place now that she is gone. The way it all went down tells me it was not her decision.

FYI: this company forces us to operate in the "grey" area. We talk about values one minute and the next we pressure FVP a and FLL to drive business. We can certainly sell with values, however with GSK, we are caught up on every little word people use. If one word comes out wrong, let's call legal etc etc. this company is truely toxic.

Her issues went way beyond a word coming out wrong. A lot of the issues were along the lines of violating HR people policies - that is where the hammer was about to drop or did drop. This was about her treating employees with respect.

Not about race at all, makes no difference what number she was with a launch product. She was chosen as FVP because of her gender, race and who she knew, sadly she probably realized she was in over her head soon after accepting the job. She made poor moral decisions, talked more than she should have and violated HR policies- that will get you fired every time.

Any updates? Did she in fact leave for a better job? That was one of the theories.

Silly rabbit, any job is better than working for a POS like GSK. Before anyone else leaves please to remember to file with the EEOC over the unethical rating system used in PF.
