the FRC is going to be shut down with the re-structure announcement. Gonna be interesting with no FRC. Just posted on intranet.

FRC internal stakeholders partners are not happy about the pending changes, just wait and see what the pending transition plan will be for closing the center.

    FCC Announcement:
    FRC news update

US Pharma restructuring changes announced this week referenced elimination of the FRC as we move to fully leverage on-demand technology to exchange information with the field. There is no immediate change; the FRC remains fully functional until further notice. We will take a phased approach moving to on-demand technology, with clear guidance and timelines communicated to the field through every step of the transition process.

If this happens we are in so much trouble. Who is going to be there for us?

When DD was hired, did Andrew tell her to gut and ruin GSK? The FRC is about the only place in this company that really helps the field.

Believe it, this is going to happen and the FRC reps who have supported the field for more than 10 years will be gone by March and the field wil be left with self service.
    It's a new day people!

    Good Luck!

So our great and fearless leaders going to provide the field with the information on eservice or intranet? Because yes they are so knowledgable and care so much about field issues. The FRC always went above and beyond to solve issues that were not their doing. At least they did the best in this place no one else will.

Thank you FRC for the many years of service and support you have provide to the US Pharma sales force and leadership.
It is sad to see that the new way of working vision / strategy does not support service function.
Maybe, next year there will be an vendor solution that's more cost effective.
    Right Know!!!!!
    Lol.

The entire department was run with only one manager and a director that led multiple areas. It was an extremely lean operation.

Wow this must be an HR or management troll posting this. Geesh have a heart. People still do matter to some of us. The FRC has been an invaluable resource for the field and now will be replaced with "Technology resources". There are alot of folks that will be out of jobs despite the fact that they were really good at it. I wish them well and hope that they are able to find even better opportunities. And for the record that isn't whining or being change resistant its just being human and recognizing that there is a huge people impact beyond all the HR rhetoric.

BJ's is hiring reps to sample cheese and mini egg rolls. There shifts are flexible and the reps seem to be happy

#15 has been there working as a sampler........he made the critical grammar mistake showing a poor ghetto education....." there shifts..." so very wrong and a strobe lights up showing your ignorance kid ....try " their shifts..." next time . Do you know the difference between two , to, and too ? lose and loose ? You aren't a pharma rep ......they would never have hired you...

What a total toxic waste dump this place has become with PR trolls like you monitoring the board. GSK is a sad pathetic company. Funny watching it get gutted like a deer before the remnants are sold off to some larger company.

The CIA marked the death of this place. It cannot survive carrying such an anchor. Wait until Advair goes generic. All hell will break loose. Keep on trolling PR loser.

Forgive me, I should have used a comma to emphasize that I was speaking about BJ's. Restated correctly it should read:
There, shifts are flexible and reps seem to be happy.
I'm only trying to help these dislocated folks find new employment.
