Hey all, I am a MSL in big pharma and have lately had issues with access at big hospitals. I was at U of Michigan for a couple appointments and was asked to register in their vendormate system as a vendor. Is anyone else encountering these issues? What is your companies policy with MSLs and vendormate/reptrax registration.
Work in southeast (GA/FL/NC/SC/MS/AL), and some of the accounts in AL, GA and NC have gone to vendor registration systems for the larger medical centers. I routinely ask if my KOLs would like to step out for coffee to a close Starbucks. Funny how almost all of them are happier to do that because they get crap for having industry in the hospitals. My employer will pay for a few of these systems, but only if I can prove that more than a few hospitals are covered. Considering what a cheapskate my boss is, it's hard to expense anything but travel costs.
