Since when can we pay for a car upgrade? I got an email to order my car. Many options. I could pay $2200 to go from a ford escape to ford explorer. The problem is in this environment, i could be transferred, laid off, etc and i lose that money. It would be nice to have a bigger car, but not sure if it is worth it. And the paycheck deduction would go up $15 every pay period, which isn't a big deal. hmmm... any insights? Much bigger car, but much more out of my pocket. I only drive about 30,000 miles a year on the car, so every 3.5 years i would be eligible for a new one..
I don't know where these posts are coming from...first about 'upgrading' to a Ford Edge, then the Explorer. These cars are not in the fleet selector.
