Interview next week in south/salary expected for cardiology hospital rep? I have 15 years pharmaceutical specialty experience and when you're Hospital sales experience. If anybody could know the expectations for a possible salary that would be helpful going into the interview. Thank you. Also any honest feedback in culture here would be appreciated. Thanks.

can't give you exact numbers, but can tell you your years of experience don't matter. IF you get the job, you will start at ground zero. New company, new year count. They will not credit you for previous years. Best you can do with that is a different title or level, like senior sales rep or whatever. Then it depends if that division even particularly offers it.

When we were forced here in diabetes, they totally screwed us over with both titles and levels. "We just don't have many executive reps." Said that level just wasn't something they would bring a rep in at, irregardless of years of work experience or prior rankings and winnings. Then they expect us to function as a diabetes sales "specialist" and work territories in a specialty manner, but definitely no specialty pay.

Good luck. If you need the job, go for it. Otherwise, AZ is a crappy place to be.

Same as any company...you get what you can negotiate.
