This thread is really a joke. It goes to show you that we truly have way TOO MANY DSS reps that all they want to do is point fingers and blame others. We need a huge layoff of DSS reps. Literally more than half should just go. The ESS structure is working...sorry to burst your bubble DSS. Pods of 6-8 could not move Endo market share so now we have 2-3 reps battling share in a very competitive market place that the DSS team clearly does not understand. Stop complaining...,focus on YOUR TARGETS and why your MS is so low in primary care!! Enough Already.

You are delusional. Endo share is DOWN nation wide, we are doing all we can in specialists offices but the system needs tweaking. We need our DSS support so we all win. This structure is setting us up to fail as ESS.

They should roll out an anonymous ESS poll. Get some truth.

Diabetes as One. With separate, competing teams within the division. Go figure.

How much longer does the business have to suffer before they admit this was a failure?

I would love to focus on MY targets but every time I look at MY data the TOP 3 volume physicians on MY list are YOUR endos. (These 3 endos account for 35% of my market) And these endos CONTINUE to decline in AZ products. When my PC docs see patients coming back from YOUR Endos on NON AZ products they do wonder. I tell them that the AZ ESS reps can't intelligently explain patient benefits and therefore the endos may not know what patients are missing out on.

So please FOCUS on YOUR targets. If ESS successfully did that then this thread would not exist.

Well said. Quick and to the point. The only way ESS could comprehend. My PC docs are refilling non AZ products initiated in Endo offices left and right. Thanks ESS. You are absolutely worthless.

Successfully? My counterparts can't even agree to WHEN or WHERE they will go on a given day/week/month. The business has suffered accordingly.

You wouldn't have any impact in those offices anyways. That's why they hired the big guns. Only a specialty force can have specialty level conversations.

How do they get away with this? How does AZ think this is GOOD for the business?!?

Been with this company for over 10 years. Never heard of this "ESS" position? Who are they and what do they do?

This experiment has got to stop! You can't be in a specialists office once every two weeks and think you will move business...it won't work. Management needs to take some advice from the field reps; try shit, if it works then stick with it...if doesn't, scrap it. That's what we do out here everyday. Your ESS experiment is failing...fix it or scrap it.

I think they tried to fix it. By attempting to patch over the problem with a third specialty rep. A third person who has no prior relationship with these top prescribers and has not not positively impacted the business. And to compound the problem, they completely blocked out any remaining DSS reps because with the third specialty rep, they don't "need the help." If leadership honestly looked at our numbers, they would realize that by expanding ESS, they only took another step backwards.

It's been over a year and it's more of the same with ESS.

It's changed a bit. They have more reps now. So they can work even less.

Lol. Name one geography that has Endo growth doing anything besides stagnating or declining let alone outpacing PCPs. Delude yourself much? Asshat.

ESS reps are showing us how it's done and they are eating our lunch. Literally. It's the only way they can get into the Endo offices. At a lunch, with us, that we scheduled for them.
