I was under the impression the CNS team would carry this...Daiichi Sankyo? Anyone else confused about this decision?

 

It makes perfect sense. DS already has a GI trained sales force with existing relationships. If you guys are looking for job security, you should look elsewhere.

 

Actually it doesn't make sense, unless AZ knows that it will not do that well & is getting some cash from DS to fill the coffers.

We have a PCP team that will lose Crestor soon enough. Maybe DS is on the hook for about a year and then see ya. Who knows?

 

Let me explain. The PCP team will lose Crestor and at that time they will lose their jobs. AZ will then leave promotion of movantik to DS and just collect their share of the profits. Get it?

No, we don't have a GI sales force. We are a cardiovascular company with a small oncology sales force so this is a new marketplace for us too. We are just as wide-eyed about it as you are. Has Movantik been launched yet?
