4k will be the future I just hope we realise it before it's too late. Look at the commercial market how many 3D films are coming out now?!? 3D is too niche and too expensive.
Keep drinking the kool aid. 3D has application in surgery and you are crazy if you do not realize this.
I agree It does have an application particularly with more junior docs as the learning curve is speeded up but 3D is not widely accepted technology due to the larger portal sites, difficult to record and edit usefully and the eye fatigue tolerance
