Heard from some guys in BD that the company is waiting for Amgen to restructure and is dabbling in buying Amgen.

I've heard that too, so then it must be true. A few years Amgen hired a bunch of people that we Pfired. They must be quaking in their Gucci loafers.

OMG!! I saw a guy this morning in a coffee shop I thought looked like Ian Read and overheard him talking about buying Amgen. It must have been really him! Funny thing is I thought he was talking about just some stock purchases! I guess I was right after all.

The three people I know who were eased out of Pfizer and went to Amgen were worse than useless. I never want to see their faces again.

If it happens, another company will be ruined by the parasitic Pfizer.

Oh come on. Every Republican admires Pfizer for making sooo much money. They don't give a rat's ass how much damage is done to the country or the people. Screwing the workers is foreplay for the GOP.

The Dems want to give it all to the losers, bums, immigrants(illegal). Of course, as long as they keep getting rich and richer, and live far away from any "needy" people. So noble and concerned with the plights of the downtrodden. Bullshit.

Pfizer and all predator companies suck. I, too, hate their process, but the socialistic alternative is as bad, or worse.

What about all of the people whose salaries were kept afloat by the drugs we acquired during our "mergers"? Where would be without Upjohn/Pharmacia's Celebrex and Lyrica, and oncology portfolio? Warner Lambert's Lipitor? Wyeth's drugs? UCB Pharma and Eisai's drugs? We'd be like one of those companies that we used to make fun of: a one trick pony with only Viagra and some small drugs keeping the lights on. And a helluva lot less of us would be employed here.

They would all be working with their parent companies, and Pfizer would have been acquired or become extinct. Probably would have been better for the industry.
