Notworthy Re: ABBOTT AMBULANCE - ST. LOUIS, MO

THESE 2 POSTS WERE MOVED HERE FROM ANOTHER UNRELATED ABBOTT CO. THREAD. #1 WAS POSTED EARLY OCTOBER, 2008 AND #2 WAS POSTED A FEW DAYS AFTER.

#1 Anonymous: I thought I was alone. I work for Abbott in St. Louis, MO. I have filed an EEOC case which has now exploded into a huge retaliation charge. I have paid an enormous price for the discrimination and relaliation from Abbott Management. A local TV news station has contacted me and my attorney for a story. AMR has been notified and has now taken notice of the problem. If you are an employee of Abbott Ambulance in St. Louis, MO and you have a complaint, now is the time to be heard. If you are worried about your job, remain anonymous. But if you have something to say, SAY IT. My actions are making way for others to step forward. AMR and the EEOC is listening. Call these people: Mike Owens with Channel 5 News.

#2 Anonymous -- OMG!!! You didn't give specifics about what Abbott did to you, but if the EEOC is involved then I know its pretty bad. Abbott specializes in screwing every employee, discrimination, harrassment, and evil torture!! I am surprised you haven't been fired already. It's about time somebody fought back. I hope you get what you deserve. Certainly I agree that anybody else should fight while they have a golden opportunity. Hey, have you thought about working for Gateway Ambulance in St. Louis? I used to work for Abbott, was wrongfully fired and just recently got hired at Gateway. Who is your attorney? I might want to call him. Oh yeah, Mike Owens at Channel 5 News is (314) 444-5111. I know because I called him yesterday.
PS. If you are a chic and you are single, will you marry me?? I just luv feisty chics!! LOL

This has nothing to do with Abbott Labs the drug company.
Abbott Ambulance is a small local company in St Louis un related to
Abbott Labs the drug company.

Just FYI

Correct, this is not part of Abbott Labs. However, Abbott Ambulance is not a small company but rather a very large company owned by AMR which owns and operates ambulance services throughout the US. These employees have numerous issues and just needed a safe place to say what's on their minds. So, here we are I guess.

Thanks for your info. Appreciate your taking time to read and respond. Hope all goes well with Abbott Lab employees. You have my support.

I too happened to hear several incidents of financial issues with the employees in the firm from some known ones. However no doubt they anyways have been doing great.
