Default PRIOR GSK Employee - How Not To Get Managed Out or Terminated

Hey GSK - I was one of you. And I'll say - CAFEPHARMA IS YOUR FRIEND IF, and again, IF YOU KNOW how to play the game. DO NOT REGISTER - always remain anonymous. If helpful, it's not a game, but is controlled by those in power (that's all I'll say). The ability to share your opinion & have freedom of speech is what CP provides, and it's huge for those who know how to read through the .... Cafepharma is a great forum for information!

At the same time, DO NOT PROVIDE DETAILS in terms of your territory, years of service, colleagues, personal life, management, salary, etc... This may seem irrelevant, but if you have a story to be told whether it be someone telling you to promote off-label or otherwise, do not give details. Protect yourself, Cafepharma, and yes - those who are good employees.

This should and will be the thread for all future threads to keep in mind. I wish I had the energy to post it on every company's board - protect CP in terms of info, yet also protect employees from posting personal details that ultimately get them managed out. YES, being MANAGED OUT happens to the best of the best.

Please tell your friends, and everyone in this industry - Cafepharma is a great forum for info, but DO NOT POST DETAILS ABOUT YOUR LIFE OR JOB. Every company is watching - so have fun!!! Alter the years, geography, etc... DO NOT HURT OTHERS, yet PROTECT YOURSELF FROM HR.

ALL OF US, and I mean ALL read this board so it's hard to discern truth from fiction. If you have a story or frustration - tell it. People will learn. Just don't share the details of where you're at, who you work for, etc... if you want to keep your job.

First you say that CP is a good place for information. Then towards the end you say it is hard to discern truth from fiction. Seems to be a conflicting set of statements. A large majority of stuff is either made up, exaggerated or is just an outright lie. It is doubtful that most people take much for being serious and reliable. Instead, this is basically a place for people to vent. It is much like writing on the bathroom wall.

Nah......the experienced know what is reliable and what is not. It is useful. Stay away...you seem to be enamored with it to be the first post out of the block...
