So what are your thoughts about this new division that has been created? Rumor has it they're hiring dedicated reps to sell just foot/ankle/MMI products so you can kiss about 15-35% of your product portfolio goodbye. T2 Ankle Nails, Variax Foot, Micro Asnis, the new MMI products. For those of you making $150k/yr, (assuming 25% of your total number was foot/ankle products), that's $37,500/yr gone. I don't understand how Stryker can create a strategic business plan to promote and increase growth when all they want to do is decrease the amount that the average rep makes. And then management wants you to be the "team player" and show the new guy around to all the surgeons that you have the relationships with to help him grow his business?

    MMI cases aren't peanuts....YET.

Wait until those items get on the Stryker contracts. List price for a staple will be long gone.

Deformity correction and circular frame cases are very nice, no arguement. However, many iare elective and private pay so as this economy has tanked so has the disposable income for these cases and total joints has suffered. Also you are not talking about a large population of Docs that are good at these and do them, with regularity so competition is high, especially from SNN. Be realistic and honest to the OP, this is a niche position for the right individual, not big bucks and as I mentioned previously, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

This division may not have been a bad aquisiton for Stryker but it did bring some bad poeple on board. They have lasted too long and i won't say any names Blair Wilroy and Stormy See but the company is finally getting rid of the cancer they aquired several years back... Good luck to you and your families..... Keep growing Stryker you must take the good with the bad.
