    Position Overview
    The Capital Specialist (CS) will be responsible for providing exceptional, field-based customer support activities that will strengthen the EndoChoice brand. As a key member of the sales team, the primary focus of the CS will be sales support of the revolutionary FuseTM endoscopy system. Rapid commercialization of this innovative technology will require the CS to aggressively implement support planning and execution across a multi-state region. The CS will need to be a resourceful, technically-minded individual that is capable of working autonomously in order to meet customer field service needs. The CS will report to and work closely with the Regional Manager (RM) to support the on-site demo and system implementation goals of the region. This will include direct responsibility for clinical staff training and in-servicing, equipment set up and certification, technical troubleshooting, and ongoing customer service and support.

    Scope of Responsibility
    Be the regional expert on the FuseTM endoscopy system
    Exhibit strong clinical & operational knowledge, while staying current on all EndoChoice products, programs and competitive landscape
    Demonstrate the ability to transfer knowledge through communication skills.
    Develop the necessary skills and knowledge base needed to provide the highest level of customer support and satisfaction
    Perform as integral team member working closely with customers, Territory Managers (TM), Regional Managers (RM), Video Technical Service Support, and other corporate personnel to exceed the customer’s expectations for support and service
    Establish and develop trusted, professional relationships with key decision makers (Physicians, Nurse Managers, Biomedical Engineers, and Materials Managers) to support their endoscopy equipment service and support needs
    Conduct in-services to clinical staff on video equipment set up, proper handling, and cleaning (reprocessing) to ensure equipment will be maintained properly for maximum operational performance
    Support local, regional and national trade shows, as required
    Complete and submit all necessary activity report documentation including travel itineraries, service documentation, and expense reports
    Perform additional duties in the company, as required

    Additional Job Functions
    Prepare business plan and sales strategies for territory
    Maintain sales pipeline and CRM activities
    Serve as an advocate for the company’s customers
    Attend national trade shows, as necessary
    Qualifications and Requirements
    A minimum of 1 year of sales or service experience
    Medtech sales experience preferred, GI endoscopy is an advantage
    Experience at global corporations preferred
    4-year degree
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    Valid driver’s license and clean driving records are required

    No respectable capital device rep will take this job and work alongside their disposable reps who came from Pharma.

    Olympus owns this space.

    Run away from this-physicians have interest until they see the sticker price. Too expensive and quite frankly not that much better than Olympus

    What is comp for the TM position? Recruiter quoted 65 base with negotiable plan up to 180 or so. Is this accurate at all?

    Interesting company, pay is not great and it changes yr to yr (not all that different then most medical device jobs), FUSE technology is innovative so interest will be high, get in and make the most of it before they sell - hopefully you'll have a small piece of the pie when it does.

    It's best to stay completely away from this scope opportunity. There's been "0" interest from physicians. Although there's 3 different images, the screen size is minimized. Endochoice is a me too company started to gain share by price alone.
