Valeant today celebrated the completion of renovations to its U.S. headquarters in Bridgewater, New Jersey with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ceremony, which was attended by representatives from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA), New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, and local elected officials, marked a milestone in the company's history and signified Valeant's commitment to bring jobs to the State of New Jersey

Why would there be a press release about this? Who would care?

Valeant gets $40-million in tax credits from NJ for this project. This should help pay for some of the legal talent they used in their ill-fated Allergan hostile takeover adventure.

It's a payback for the junior politicians who got them the tax breaks. They get to be in a photo op that got widespread coverage in the business pages.

So interesting, especially since it is a Canadian company, to publicly announce their headquarters in NJ.....

It's their US headquarters in Bridgewater. International headquarters is in Quebec, Canada.

Pearson used to brag that they only had one employee in their HQ office. Nothing more than flaunting that it was a pure roll up. Make no mistake, Bridgewater is the world HQ for VRX.

Allergan was bought by an Irish company who's CEO works out of the NJ office.

Might be time to drop your hypocrisy.
