Well someone just sent me a copy of a job posting for my former department, it is for the exact position I was told was eliminated, under the exact department and the same band level. How is that for slimy, they laid off several people in my department in their mid to late 50's. Now they are advertising for the exact job, under the exact director with the exact job description, department and band level. Not that I would want to go back to that back-stabbing department. but this just smells of unethical behaviour from this director! So typical of this MMD management!
No it is not. It is just business. We cannot afford the high salaries the oldtimers were collecting. The shareholders demand that we get the best value for the money we are spending. Whether it is by contract reps or re-positioning openings~~corporations need to save money. Besides, corporations are people too~!
