Greetings and blessings to all sentient beings. It is a GREAT DAY for our country and a great day for this industry. In spite of rebooblican efforts, your health insurance cannot now be taken from you. This is the first step to cradle-to-grave health insurance, the birthright of every American citizen. And this is another nail in the coffin of the neocon nazi rush fatass oxyaddicted limbo movement. I hope you're happy in Costa Rica lardass.

Hold your heads up and be proud to be an American! In time, Pfizer will turn around as well.

I would say this day mirrors 12/7/41 and 9/11. How about a reach around, Nancy?

You idiots obviously know nothing about the bill and have just been listening to the evil, hate filled rhetoric spewn by the idiots at Fox.

How is it horrible to eliminate the doughnut hole for Medicare patients, which was stupid to begin with, and could benefit your parents or grandparents and keep patients on their Pfizer meds? How is so terrible that insurance companies can no longer drop patients, who have paid their premiums, because they actually got sick and used their insurance?

How is it so bad that insurance companies can no longer deny patients coverage for pre-existing conditions? That's like you, who decide to take an antidepressant due to stress at work, you lose your job, apply for new insurance and they say sorry you have depression, but you're perfectly healthy and have overcome your depression?

Many aspects of the bill are fixing the abuses of the greedy, unethical insurance companies. You have excellent insurance at Pfizer and have no clue what lame plans most companies offer, where people pay thousands every year for basic coverage then get the runaround for claims they need payment on.

Yes, I agree with some of the fixes of healthcare, but do you want to pay my 40% tax for a premium insurance policy like we have at Pfizer. Since you seem to be so altruistic, then please go ahead. This "change" is going to cost this country dearly.

You bet we will. This has awakened what Reagan called the silent majority in America. 76% of Americans objected to this and 8% were still undecided that leaves 16% who actually supported it. Who makes up that 16% well the totally cluesless college profressor types, the bleeding heart liberals who support every social justice handout but then never know how to pay for it, and the people who always have their hand out because the can't or unwilling to make it on their own. You remember those people from your school days. The ones skipping class to do some dope or sitting in the back and sleeping thru lessons. Those are the votes the Dems are counting on in November. News flash, there aren't enough free cigarettes to buy that many votes on election day in 2010 to overcome what is coming. Political correctness died with Pelosi's gavel this weekend and the real Americans will vote in droves and take their country back.

Greetings and blessings all sentient beings. I suggest you read the bill before you make a statement. So called "cadillac plans" cost over $30,000 per year. Pfizer doesn't pay anything like that for our insurance. Maybe in the executive suite. Face it, you're just a peon like the rest of us. I am sorry to have to tell you that all is well, the sun came up this morning, the stock market is also up and the world is not coming to an end just because the USA is finally getting with the times.

If you're relying on Reagan for quotes, he predicted the world would come to an end (bascially) if Medicare passed, and that it would bankrupt America! Well neither happened and look how we've come to accept and expect Medicare to be there for those 65 and over?

The Fox noise box and repubs keep spouting their fear mongering lies about this bill and expect their robots to follow without thinking for themselves. Why would we chose to be victims of the insurance companies who make billions in profits every year while they deny coverage for people who are paying their insurance costs, just because they are ruthless.

I loved how the repubs tried to repeal the votes by claiming innocent lives would be lost and then Bart Stupak gave them the smackdown with the facts, that more lives would be lost without the bill!

We are well on our way (to bankruptcy) without this new entitlement.

    http://www.ncpa.org/pub/ba662

"The 2009 Social Security and Medicare Trustees Reports show the combined unfunded liability of these two programs has reached nearly $107 trillion in today's dollars! That is about seven times the size of the U.S. economy and 10 times the size of the outstanding national debt." Quoted from above link.

How is it that you think america is NOT bankrupt????????????

Exactly. Finally someone posted some real facts. The fact that the elderly love their Medicare and Social Security only puts our entitlement programs at greater risk. The fact is that we can't pay for these not to mention that Medicaid is bankrupting our states. We can't pay for these and now we are adding another 30 million to a new entitlement. Have a look at what is going on in Greece and you will see our future in 2015. Or better yet, look at what is happening on college campuses in California when the liberal giveaway programs are cut back because we can't pay for them. This is not going to end well.
