Just heard about a guy who was awarded $55 million from Honda after a defective seatbelt in a crash left him a quadriplegic. He can no longer move anything from the neck down and was awarded $55 million.

This lawsuit is seeking $100 million for:

The company overpaying employees on maternity leave and then asking for the money back

Filling an open territory with an outside hire instead of allowing a transfer (how dare another rep get a referral bonus!?!)

Demanding that reps walk through "smoky" casino floors to get to meeting rooms

A RD didn't say Hi to a rep at a regional meeting

Someone said "maternity leave" while taking a group picture

    Etc. etc. etc.

Wow.....you "victims" surely deserve almost double the paralyzed guy for your "suffering"

    Pulllllleeeeeeeze!

So you were offered a lower salary and you accepted it......isn't that your fault? How do you "know for a fact" that you were hired at a much lower salary? You're that experienced yet that stupid to accept a low salary? How is that anyone else's problem but your own? Please offer a logical response and not some meaningless sarcastic drivel. I'd really like to understand your viewpoint of this suit. Thanks in advance.

You know, I've been through many meetings in Vegas and I've had to walk past many game room floors in my day. Never once did I cough or gag or become fearful due to any second hand smoke.

It's like these broads sat in the lawyer office around a big table and said "come on ladies, think of anything that's ever possibly bothered you, no matter how small. We'll just throw so much up on the wall and hope something will stick!"

Sorry ladies, second hand smoke? You really should be embarassed. Better yet, go out and do your job like a man.

I can explain the lawsuit and those who support it. They can't understand normal thinking.

Yeah, but the discrimination in the company is against men in the hiring process. Young, hot women are what they want for reps, and after that they don't care. Someone could be a former stripper who can't spell "pharmaceutical," but she'll get hired over an average looking guy with a PhD every time.

Sure you got passed over for a job because it requires a personality. Oh and last I looked there aren't too many PhD candidates dying to get into this industry. Get a clue.

Get a clue yourself, you WEREN'T hired for your personality, I'm sure.

Watch where you're walking, you don't want to hit the wall too soon

Wow! great come back! What are you, 12 years old? How about instead of a silly childish remark you offer your thoughts on the many proven problems with this suit. I have yet to hear anyone defend the claims that have so thoroughly picked apart.

    For starters:

you interviewed for a position. You discussed your background and qualifications and the hiring manager explained the job. The manager likes you and wants to offer you a position. They tell you the salary is $XX,XXX. You think about it and say, "Yes, I will take that amount and work for you".

So how do you justify turning around years later and decide it wasn't enough?

Please give me a reasonable, logical answer and none of your catty, petty, snide comments.

I'll be waiting to hear your side of the story......somehow I bet I will be waiting a while.

Hmmmm....still waiting for a logical, rational defense of this "discrimination". You seem to have opinions, or at least childish rants about other people, but why can't you defend your opinion?

    Hmmmm....

Still no logical response or defense of this suit? Why am so not surprised. I wish I could hear a defense of one "key" complaint:

"The RD did not say Hi to me at a meeting. he said hi to others....but not me"

.......and THAT's one of your reasons for a $100 MILLLION lawsuit?

    Please explain.........

The silence is deafening. I want to understand the viewpoint of the other side, but it seems as though they can't defend it. They can only shout childish insults like "loser idiot with no gf"

Please present your thoughts on this:

Imagine a district was meeting for an event and many of the guests showed up wearing red shirts. They decide to take a group photo. While taking the photo, someone says "everyone say Red Shirts!" As they snap the photo. Is that offensive?

imagine a district was meeting for an event and many of the guests who showed up were LA Dodgers fans. They decide to take a group photo. While taking the photos, someone says "everyone say Go Dodgers!" as they snap the photo. Is that offensive?

So now imagine a distinct was meeting for an event and many of the guests were going to be or coming back from maternity leave. They decide to take a group photo. while taking the photos, someone says "everyone say Maternity Leave!

Is that grounds for a $100 million lawsuit?

Of course, the great "Go Dodgers!" rebuttal of 2014! That could be the turning point in the case, way to go! Please inform the 7 lawyers Daiichi has on payroll for this specific case, they probably didn't think of that yet. And if that rebuttal does not work, there's always the tried and true "well Your Honor, I think those plaintiffs are just being childish" defense. You have real promise, have you heard from Merck's legal team? Bayer's? I'm sure they would love to have you finding these loopholes for their cases as well!
