If Pfizer buys GSK, the great majority of us will be cut. Do your homework, thats what they did to Warner Lambert, Pharmacia, Wyeth, and King: they buy a company, cut that company's staff, promote legacy Pfizer dregs and flotsam to the newly vacant positions of authority, or newly created positions of authority.

I know, I was there from the mid 90's to the mid 00's.

I have been prepping for a take-over for a year. I advise that you do the same, or suffer the consequences.

 

Heck, I though IBM was buying us from the title. Anything to get that stock price up. Go Big Blue. Hope everyone is looking for greener pastures.

Guys, why would Pfizer or anyone else want to buy us. In all seriousness, what do we have to offer. Within 3 years GSK will be dismantled into 3 companies.

1. Vaccine
2. RX
3. Consumer

I agree on #1 and #3.

What's the possible value of #2 in a post ADVAIR generic world? Does it even reach $1B a year in sales?

Knowing Pfizer, they could buy us with the intent of "Well, there's no way we can f*@k this up as bad as the clowns in RTP."

 

They're interested simply because they know that they can extract more value out of the business than GSK can.
